Just returned to this issue. Anyone able to explain where I add the custom filter info? I created a custom function to filter posts on a specific site page using my custom field, but everything I try to do to add it to this widget is a fail. I’m about to switch to a new widget because this functionality is really important to my site.

Sure thing. The manual excerpt thing won’t work very well as we have limited volunteer power and need it automated as much as possible, but I will definitely write your website and try the new version. Thank you.
