In reply to: [HK Exif Tags] always display exif on new lineI tried another way instead. The gave me unwanted space between the EXIF line and the picture. I deleted and added display:block; in the style definition. Seems to work…
https://frell.itHello,
I’m in need to fit a goog SEO plugin with a multilingual install, ahd came across this thread. Like NickUdd, I’d like to know what Joost suggests: I love his SEO plugin, but I also need to provide quick solutions to my and my clients’ needs.
Otherwise I’ll be forced to use some other plugin: qTranslate has some limitations but works great for small and low budget projects.
When money is not a worry, go with WPML (no problems with Yoast). Most of the times I have sample content on local and I use FileZilla.
The main motivation to be local is that there’s no need to upload anything and that saves time when mamipulating CSS and files… Save + F5 and see what happens. When development goes near “show your site to the net” or I want to be sure about a plugin I switch live
Hello! I’m quite a novice here, and I find this thread very interensting.
This is my preferences:- A local WP install for every site I’m developing
- I’m not developing 100 sites at once, so I just need a small Db with some lorem ipsum and the pc does not mind if I set up more than one
- No multisite, as I don’t like switching from dashboard to dashboard and I can act in the core files of every site if I want to
Love local environment fort the first part of theme/css development/optimization and plugin testing, but I need the production server to be sure that everything is working flawlessly, so I go online, upload my site and use a “coming soon” plugin until I’m sure that the site is running smoothly. Fine-tuning always occur.
My 2c ??THANKS!

In reply to: [File Gallery] [Plugin: File Gallery] Does not work…Thanks; the plugin works now. There must be some strange conflict with the lighbox gallery plugin (if I activate this one after File Gallery, nothing is displayed).
My aim was to have File Gallery showing the full images in some kind of lightbox but it seems that they don’t get along together ??It’s a network enabled WP with 3 blogs.
