    In thumbs.php

    {
    global $post;
    $img = get_post_thumb($post->ID,680,230);
    if($img[‘show’] != false) {
    if($img[‘src’] != “”) {

    $img = ‘<span>'.get_the_title().'</span>‘;
    return $img.” “.$content;
    } else {
    return $content;
    }
    } else {
    return $content;
    }
    }

    function get_first_image($post_id) { //retrieves first post attachment, check if is image

    $args = array(
    ‘post_type’ => ‘attachment’,
    ‘numberposts’ => null,
    ‘post_status’ => null,
    ‘post_parent’ => $post_id
    );

    $attachments = get_posts($args);
    if ($attachments) {
    foreach ($attachments as $attachment) {
    if(is_image(wp_get_attachment_url($attachment->ID))) {
    return wp_get_attachment_url($attachment->ID);
    }
    }
    }

    return false;
    }

    in resize.php I can see:

    <?php

    /**
    * Resizes an image and returns the resized URL. Uses native WordPress functionality.
    *
    * The function supports GD Library and ImageMagick. WordPress will pick whichever is most appropriate.
    * If none of the supported libraries are available, the function will return the original image url.
    *
    * Images are saved to the WordPress uploads directory, just like images uploaded through the Media Library.
    *
    * Supports WordPress 3.5 and above.
    *
    * Based on resize.php by Matthew Ruddy (GPLv2 Licensed, Copyright (c) 2012, 2013)

    I am using TrendyBlog theme

    I don′t find this function, but I am searching.

    Yes! I work with Child Theme, the problem is… the author say me… remove this line in all files! But it is too changes.

    And I think that this problem is possible fix it by other via.

    This line resize all my images 500×500, but i don′t want it. I don′t want because I don′t use this size.

    $image = get_post_thumb($post->ID,500,500);

    For example:

    <?php
    wp_reset_query();
    if( $my_query->have_posts() ) {
    while ($my_query->have_posts()) {
    $my_query->the_post();

    //categories
    $categories = get_the_category($my_query->post->ID);
    $catCount = count($categories);
    //select a random category id
    $id = rand(0,$catCount-1);
    $titleColor = df_title_color($categories[$id]->term_id, “category”, false);

    $image = get_post_thumb($post->ID,500,500);
    ?>
    <div class=”col col_4_of_12″>
    <!– Layout post 1 –>
    <div class=”layout_post_1″>
    <div class=”item_thumb”>
    <div class=”thumb_icon”>
    ” style=”background-color: <?php echo esc_attr__($titleColor);?>”><i class=”fa fa-copy”></i>
    </div>
    <?php
    if(df_get_option(THEME_NAME.”_show_first_thumb”) == “on” && $image[‘show’]==true) {
    ?>

    And if I prefer don′t use plugin? Is there other option?
