In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Valid links marked as brokenHi Jorge,
Can you please explain a bit why we’d need to disable open_basedir restriction? It is perhaps implemented by a security expert and I am not sure if I can get my client’s permission to do so.
We’re hosting the site with GCP.
Thanks
@rossmitchell Thank you for your ideas, appreciate your thoughts.
To narrow down my question, assume that I have already found a way to save and get this information from the database. What I am looking for currently is a concrete way to create a grid like structure in the front end to grab the keyword and its variations. Any ideas?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Valid links marked as brokenI have shared the log file with you as you directed in your response.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Valid links marked as brokenI was waiting for the plugin to run its routine jobs every 3 days so that you may have some logs to review. But now that I check the logs folder, I find it empty. Even though I enabled the logging on the very same day when you advised me.
Kindly instruct what needs to be done.
Find the snapshot of the settings I have kept on the concerned site for the last 2 weeks:
https://www.coaching-place.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/blc.pngAlso note, that I have two different sites running on different servers where I was using this plugin. The plugin is reporting broken links which are not actually broken on both sites.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Valid links marked as brokenI am sorry – yes that is a 404 because I accidentally pasted the wrong url here.
The timeout is set at 30 seconds, max execution time is set at 420 seconds and the server load limit is set at 4.00
Here is the screenshot of the output on our dashboard:
https://www.coaching-place.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/brokenlinks.jpgThese are the links in this screenshot for the record, none of them are actually 404:
https://www.coaching-place.com/hypnosis-services/quit-smoking/
https://www.coaching-place.com/hypnosis-services/weight-loss/
https://www.coaching-place.com/hypnosis-services/fear-of-flying/
https://www.coaching-place.com/hypnosis-services/better-sleep/
https://www.coaching-place.com/hypnosis-in-berlin/
https://www.coaching-place.com/hypnosis-in-dusseldorf/No matter how many times I recheck them, they stay 404 in the plugin. In fact the plugin is marking almost all the urls as 404.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Plugin marks valid links as brokenI am having the same issues with my site. I can’t really seem to understand why the plugin is reporting totally working, active links as 404 – Not found. And no matter how many times I recheck them, they stay 404.
Some of the example URLs:
1) https://www.coaching-place.com/contact/
2) https://www.coaching-place.com/coaches/matey-illiesu/
3) https://www.coaching-place.com/study-efficiently-addition/As you can see these links are totally alright. Even if checked from third party sources but the plugin reports them as broken every time with a 404. The links are properly indexed on Google too. This actually led me to deactivate the plugin altogether for now.
Please advise what’s the matter?

In reply to: [Site Reviews] Incorrect Schema Generating for Category Archive/Blog PagesYes, I can do that. Thanks
The reason why they’re pushing it is because Google is throwing an error for index pages in the rich snippets section, obviously.
Alright, you can mark this thread as closed, I am going to remove the schema from the blog page altogether.
Thank you for the help

In reply to: [Site Reviews] Incorrect Schema Generating for Category Archive/Blog PagesClient’s requirements.
So you’re saying I can’t edit the schema for the blog page using this filter:
‘site-reviews/schema/LocalBusiness’?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Site Reviews] Incorrect Schema Generating for Category Archive/Blog PagesI have tried is_page with id and slug, is_home, is_page_template, permalink matching e.t.c. but nothing is working for the blog page.
It’s as if like the filter I have added in the functions.php file doesn’t get run the last for that specific page. I have also tried changing priority for the add_filter function to no results.
Does this plugin treat the blog page exclusively?

In reply to: [Site Reviews] Incorrect Schema Generating for Category Archive/Blog PagesI succeeded in fixing the schema for category pages. However, the schema filter is not getting applied to the blog page: https://www.coaching-place.de/blog/
We’re using a separate template for this page. I have tried editing the schema for the blog page through many functions but the schema is not getting altered. Is there an override for the blog page?

In reply to: [Site Reviews] Incorrect Schema Generating for Category Archive/Blog PagesAlright I understand. I will probably need to use is_category() and append custom name, description and url to the scehema for these pages.
Thanks
