Which version of Easy Table you’re using?

It’s actually not restricted to ‘same domain’, but for Google Drive and Dropbox, there’s should be a redirect to access it’s direct link which is Easy Table currently not capable to handle this.

However, at this time. Easy Table does not supports external link such as including (but not limited to) Dropbox and Google Spreadsheet.

Dear all,
If you add new theme to the folder, just hit Save button on the option page. It will clear cache and retrieve theme files.

But be aware, the current version of Easy Table only reads theme folder on the plugin directory which is NOT SAFE because it will be deleted once you update the plugin version.

The new scenario of adding new theme is still in development.

Yes, it’s possible to merge cell in Easy Table.
Easy table supports cell attribute (by default it uses attr shortcode, however it can be changed if needed), then you could put ‘any valid HTML table cell attribute‘ there.
In your example, you need to use colspan in your cell attr.
