This seems like a great plugin but I can’t get it to work either.

I’ve followed all the instructions, deactivate plugins & thesme, check PHP version etc. but no joy.

I’ve posted on the Support section too but no reply.

I’m guessing the developer is no longer supporting this?

My problem is that when someone tries to register here https://granthambusinessclub.co.uk/join-us/ using the business name Jaguar Energy Ltd they get the error “Your username contains invalid characters”.

I was able to add a WP user called Jaguar Energy Ltd no problem.

I need to add them via the registration form anyway as there are other bit of information I need on the member profiles.

In the end I started using ManageWP and their new version of the software, called Orion, works almost every time. If it doesn’t then support move the site for you anyway.

It’s not free but for what you get, cloning is only a tiny part of it, it is worth it ??

PHP needs to be 5.3 not 3.3, or is that a typo? ??

I found the ngg_delete_expired_transients still in 2 places, but have been able to delete them it seems.

The plugin was deleted a long time ago so there seems to be nothing left to delete.

The cron is showing in ‘What’s in Cron’ plugin.

The text ngg_delete_expired_transients also appears in several files when I searched all the site files with TextWrangler. They appear to be backup files as in FileZilla there is definitely no NextGEN plugin.

I am deleting the backup files. They are from Duplicator and I don’t use that plugin anymore.

I’ve been fighting with this all day after moving a site’s hosting and then realising I did not have the WP Clone URL.

The URL I used was https://mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-clone/wpclone_backup_17th_Jul_2014_03-06PM_abc_xxxxxxxx.zip
