Thank you, very helpful. The adjustments did not work until I followed your advice to covert to a pure audio format. The MP3 format behaves properly. I was then able to adjust everything to my liking.

I have resolved #2 by turning off autoplay.

I have discovered a new problem. There is no sound or sound control on the mobile page although the video plays.

Thank you for the note, it helps to understand why we are seeing this. Perhaps a settings option to set the delay from 0 (off) to 10 seconds would keep everyone happy.

I have long appreciated this plugin and gave it a 5 * review some years ago. This is an unnecessary intrusion which creates a major PIA and waste of time when replacing a large number of images. Your ads have been fine but this is in my book is a no no.

Yes, I attempted to resolve issues through MailPoet support. The editor is simply poor with inadequate format control which is the reason for attempting copy/paste from a real text editor.

This just gets worse! Following the previous issue of sending an email out on an old blog post, I disabled the post notification which had been set to 8:00am. This morning, I posted a new blog post at 7:45, edited the notification to send out notifications at 12:00, and activated the notification. One notification was sent out at 8:04 this morning and a repeat at 12:00. This just irritates subscribers into unsubscribing!

I switched from MailChimp to MailPoet as part of a growth plan; however MailPoet has demonstrated many more disadvantages than advantages:

• no/little control over the sending of post notifications
• the MailPoet email editor really screws up copy drafted in or copied from globally used word processing applications such as Word or Google Docs
• the sending statistics are severely reduced to the point of near nothing
• fails to confirm subscribers added through MemberPress purchases

Further, I expected a native WordPress application editor to have reusable blocks

I contacted MemberPress support to see if they could offer any information. They replied with this comment:

Unfortunately, when users sign up for membership and you have this option in MailPoet enabled, our MailPoet integration might not work and users won’t be added to MailPoet and their status will not be updated. MailPoet is the only email marketing tool that requires third-party email tool so you might use one of the other email marketing tools with our integration: Email Marketing Addons.

Both MemberPress and MailPoet are widely used but there appears to be a lack of cooperation between the plugins. I would expect that a list signup coming from a MemberPress subscription would be sufficient confirmation.

I have completed the setup of MailPoet and started on the process of integrating it with MemberPress when I ran across the opt-in issue referred in the original post in Step 6:

Login to your MailPoet account, navigate to the “Sign Up Confirmation” tab, and set Enable signup Confirmation to No, as shown below.

NOTE: If you’re using the MailPoet paid version sending service, this may not be an option for you. That’s because the Signup Confirmation is required when using MailPoet’s Sending Service. To avoid it, you’ll need to switch MailPoet to a manual SMPT sending service like SendGrid, MailGun, or Amazon SES.

Why would it be necessary to disable confirmation? Does MailPoet hold up the completion of the membership purchase pending confirmation? I am totally mystified.

Why would you mark this as resolved? Nothing has been fixed. The message without a button remains constantly nagging at the top of every WP admin screen.

I have uninstalled Popup Builder.

I just installed Popup Maker v1.17.1 and am getting the same message. I completely deleted and reinstalled the plugin to remove any possible remnants. Still get the message.

The Generate Press theme has been in use on this website for 6 years and Popup Builder was working just fine. Popup Builder is far more disposable than the theme.

The exported file is 39kb. There is no Get A Link option at https://wetransfer.com/ The second link at Lightshot https://prnt.sc/174oX-9Hspki opens an upload files dialog with input disabled. Ditto for the third link. Please provide an email address to which I can send the file.
