that worked a treat thanks,
in order to display them separately on the Home page i would need 2 loops on the home page right ?
one with the normal post and the other with CPT
is that correct

i am having a similar problem with my CPT aswell,
but my issue is that how do i separate the normal blog posts and CPT
i have hunted the net for solutions but can not find any

nice works like a charm,
but if we would like to display them on category pages would we change the code to?
