@luckynasan Thank you for your suggestion. I did try, and it seems working better.
I got rid of All In One WP Security plugin and I used a different browser in incognito mode. But I must say it’s still a bit glitchy though. In a few stories, it took a few minutes for the changes to be saved.
Considering I couldn’t do anything a few weeks ago, I must say I’m glad that I can do something about it now. I really appreciate your help.
I’m sure Web Stories plugin will be better as time goes by. Thank you.

@luckynasan Hi, I can confirm that using the keyboard shortcut does not save the changes either. FYI, the story URL I put in the form is the published one. But I had difficulties saving changes with that one until you had a plugin update recently (but not the latest one).

I tried your suggestion to temporarily disable the plugins, but I didn’t find any luck. No difference. All the buttons are there and clickable. But they don’t do their jobs properly. No changes are made.
As for WordPress REST API, I don’t think I made any changes at all. Unless I did something that created the change without me knowing it.

So I asked my hosting to set WP_DEBUG as you advised. Unfortunately, nothing has changed.
All the buttons are clickable but no changes are saved.

Sorry again for another late response.
I actually haven’t made any changes you suggested yet. Then I updated the plugin last week. It seemed it was working fine. However, this morning when I updated the plugin, the issue came back. And this time the view/save/publish buttons are not clickable at all.

Re your answer, both save and publish buttons are clickable. And when I clicked them, it seemed they did the job. But when I left the page and got back to it to check, no changes were made at all.
I will try the step 1 and 2 that you suggested.
Re no 3, the last action I made was trying to put text on the media. Because the all the medias are already on each pages.
