Awesome, the latest solution works for the archive post layout! Thank you so much, I really appreciate that you kept checking back here until it was resolved.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I added this code in the Code Snippets plugin as I understand from the Kadence knowledge base that this is the recommended route.

Just to summarize, my current setup is as follows:

I have both code snippets you provided activated in the Code Snippets plugin and the following settings in the customiser:

    Single post layout:
    – in Title Elements, visibility of meta is off
    – RESULT: as mentioned previously, this works well for single posts! Post meta only appears at the bottom of single posts.

    Archive Layout:
    – in Post Item Elements, if visibility of meta is off, post meta appears nowhere
    – in Post Item Elements, if visibility of meta is on, post meta appears at top and bottom
    – RESULT: in any archive layout, I’m still not able to move the meta the way I could for single posts

Thanks for your help and for considering a tags option for the archives.

I added the code from your most recent post as a code snippet and it didn’t seem to work – meta was not appearing under posts in archive layout.

I then tried turning on the visibility of the meta element in the customiser, and then the meta appeared under the posts. But it also appears at the top of each post now! Should I use CSS to hide it at the top, or is there a better way to address this?

Thank you very much! This works great when displaying single posts, but I’m still not seeing the post meta under the post when posts are displayed on the home page or any archive page.

What snippet could I use to have the post meta appear under the post no matter where the post appears?

As I view tags as part of the post meta, I am also trying to get them to appear under the post no matter where the post appears. (They currently appear only under single posts but not in archive layouts.) Any help with that would be really appreciated too!

Hello, I’m wondering if there has been any progress on this problem? I am experiencing the same issue where the plugin appears to work but the replacements don’t actually happen. I am happy to send screencaps which hopefully provide the details you need.

Thank you very much, by the way, for this plugin. If I am able to get it to work, it will save me a lot of time.

Thanks so much for the fast response Curtiss!

I think I am having the same problem. Does it look anything like this (see the right sidebar)?

Previously, the little triangular arrow indicator and the name of each accordion section were on the same line, and last night they suddenly moved to separate lines. I didn’t change anything with the plugin at all so am quite stumped.

First, I agree that options like that in the settings page would make this great plugin even better.

That being said, I also want to thank the author for this fantastic plugin. I have spent a long time trying to figure out a space-efficient presentation of recent posts, popular posts and featured posts in my sidebar, and wasn’t able to make other plugins do what I wanted. (Quite possibly through lack of expertise on my part.)

However, I was finally able to get what I wanted using a combination of this plugin’s accordion setting, and the WordPress custom menus widget i.e. I created multiple custom menus, and then dragged multiple instances of the WordPress custom menus widget into the collapsible widget area. Just mentioning it here in case the idea helps anyone else. THANK YOU!

Great, I’m looking forward to it. Thanks for this plugin, Héctor. ??

Hi, I’m having the same problem.

It would be cool if this could be done through a simple check-box in the plugin settings to deactivate loading of the CSS.

Hi, I was googling a similar question and came across this post. I hope it is OK if I add on my own query.

I have the asynchronous GA code (which I added manually) in header.php of my main theme. It is not clear to me whether I should add the same GA code in the WPTouch settings as well.

At another site, I read the following suggestion. Do you recommend using this method? If not, please let me know what should be done. Thanks.

If you have switched to the asynchronous Google analytics code, adding the Analytics code within the settings panel wont track your mobile viewers. This is because the plugin adds the analytics code just before the body tag while ideally, the newer Analytics code should be placed before the head tag.

In that case, open wp-content/plugins/wp-touch/themes/core/core-header.php and add the newer analytics code before the head tag.
