In reply to: [Recipe Card] Breaks with SSLMe too. I love this plugin. It’s the best solution available – so I’m recoding it myself, but I’m way too busy to document all the steps to share. Yumprint, please update this with SSL support built in. We love your plugin!!

In reply to: Add bottom margin to audio and video playersThanks Mike – it’s taken care of. WP is going to have to address stability of platform, legacy support and backporting if it’s going to maintain/increase market share as a commercial CMS. Happy New Year !!

In reply to: Add bottom margin to audio and video playersI’m working it and will update you when I can Sam — so far it’s looking like this has cropped up before back in 2011:
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/29702/wordpress-automatically-adding-nbsp.
Specifically, every time I Update Post or switch between Visual and Text editor TinyMCE is adding   before and after my video embeds – 4.1 with latest release.

In reply to: [Recipe Card] Categories? It’s been two months since dechtman asked his question. Is support still available for this plugin? We need the ability to add a category such as “recipes” to keep posts out of news pages.
I’ve solved the operational problems, by putting in a custom field (a text-only plugin was causing conflicts) – so my site is “go” again. But I’m still throwing errors on the Debugging page, so we’ll need to get that sorted.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Is All Of This Legal? When publishers use public-domain feeds from sources who encourage truncated republication for more traffic- with proper attribution links as Tom Peranteau points out- the feed sources benefit from increased clickthroughs and the publishers benefit from free microcontent. It’s a win-win mutually beneficial situation as Huffington Post has demonstrated beyond doubt.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Version 3.00 Destroyed My SiteHey BigDog and Allen – we absolutely agree:
by far the best rss feed importer plugin available, paid or free.
BigDog, BBPress won’t let posters delete stuff, that’s why I don’t use it on my site. It has no “forgive and forget” feature. Doh!
Version 2.67.68 really is trouble free, and when/if my site is a success Allen is absolutely first on my “pay your dues” list, because RSS MI is the heart of ST. I’m going to go write that positive review and give 5 stars right now.
Thanks Allen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Version 3.00 Destroyed My SiteIt may be good for folks doing a first install, but it threw my roller coaster right off the learning curve. I’ll still support you for 2.67.68. You might want to consider having a link to it somewhere for those less fortunate who don’t have reliable site backups available (I learned that lesson the hard way too). Time for lunch.
