I think that is because some of your tables are in InnoDB. Indeed, optimizing InnoDB tables is not really efficient and does not work in the same way as for MyISAM tables.
I will make an update today to skip those tables. I will inform you once done so you can test it again.

Thank you very much for your interesting remarks. I will take them into consideration for next update. In what concerns the “reset database” tool already included in the plugin, I believe that is a developer item (mainly for testing purposes) and not proper to cleaning database, It will be detached in next release, a new small separated plugin will be available for resetting the database. It will be replaced, maybe, by the reset slug…maybe.
I will inform you once update is available.

As you have said, reset slug is not a proper item for cleaning, I want to keep the plugin specialized in cleaning the database. However, I will investigate and see what I can do. Maybe a separated plugin…
