Hi,
You can use this URL

I have some firewalls and security checks in place, so let me know if you have troubles accessing the website.
Thanks for the checks.
Didier.
Hello,
I did some extra analysis:
- Using this API request “mywebsite.com/wp-json/wp/v2/posts”, I get all my published posts, so the API is working fine for me from my browser.
- I installed plugin “REST API Log” to log all REST requests. I see in the log my previous requests of the GET of posts, but I do not see any entries for the AIOSEO plugin. Strange no?
- Only 2 site updates were performed the last months: WordFence plugin and WP version update to 6.2.3. I disabled Wordfence. Not better.
Either it is related to the WP update from 6.2.2 to 6.2.3, or I have a hosting server problem. They changed the server recently. But it doesn’t explain why my REST API is working fine, but AIOSEO is telling me the opposite.
Again, how does the plugin determine that the REST API is disabled, as I see no real-time check done per logs ? How is this checked from code level, please?
Didier.
The only that I can tell is that it started when my ISP upgraded the MariaDB. My WP version did not change. I upgraded to the latest WP 6.2.2, theme, plugins, etc, but the error still remains.
I suspect there is an issue with the database indeed, or with the SQL driver. But again, not much that I as the end user can do about it.
Thanks for your support!
Didier.
Hi Peter,
I will not be able to provide more logs on this as I am on a shared server with no access to system logs. I checked in the past with my ISP and no errors on their side. The database is also not restarted.
Sorry for not being able to help more.
Didier.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Page crash when previewing a page in admin modeFor info:
- version 50,49,48,46 all fail
- I go back to my previous plugin version 2.0.11 and no crash anymore.
So you messed up something between version 11 and 46. Please check it out.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Page crash when previewing a page in admin modeHere it is: https://www.debbaut.solutions/
As said, the front-end pages do not have a problem. I also do nort use TOC on these pages. (pre-)Viewing these pages via the admin console gives me the crash as shown above.
Let me also know the email so that I can send you some screenshots and/or video.
Didier.
I am back.
So 3 errors on 2 different sites/databases but all on the same sql server. mariaDB is running since 08 June, and I have errors with table wfblocks on 15 and 16 June. So the database restart is not the problem. I see some problems with connections in the ‘Advisor’ log:
- 8% of all connections are aborted. This value should be below 1%
- Aborted connections rate is at 23.49 per minute, this value should be less than 1 per hour
- Aborted client rate is at 4.84 per hour, this value should be less than 1 per hour
No idea what this means and what I can do about it…
That’s all for now.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Page crash when previewing a page in admin modeCan I write to [email protected]?
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the reply. I have seen this error with other plugins too, but mostly with WF. I have no CLI access, but I can see how long the database is running via phpmyadmin. The next time I will check the timestamp of one error and eventual database restart.
I fully understand that the problem is caused by a database connection loss. In this case, as not much can be done from a database or end user POV, this error could be catched from application POV. Why do not a retry of the request if it has failed?…
I’ll try to provide some more info, but I don’t have much access as I am on a shared server.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Page crash when previewing a page in admin modeHello,
Sure. You have an email so that I can share some stuff with you?
As I said in my ticket, this is really strange:
- only my pages are crashing in admin mode. I do not use TOC shortcodes in my pages. The end users can see the pages with no problem
- I have no problem with posts where I use the TOC of course.
Thanks,
Didier.
Hi !
Seeing the code, what is this plugin called “paid-membereships-pro” ? I think that somebody needs a new pair of glasses..haha.
No stress guys. I’ll wait for the fix.
Thanks for the reply.

I don’t know if this coming with the latest version or not. I do not update my pages often. Maybe the bug is present since a while.

In reply to: Cron unschedule event error for hookI am on a shared server, so no access to my database details. I asked my ISP, and per them, the databases are monitored and no problem to report. I will not be able to get more info from the database activity.
I have moved since one day to a Linux cron instead of the WP cron for 3 websites. Let’s see if I get errors again.
Thanks for the support.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Cron unschedule event error for hookI see all valid replies from everyone, but no concrete solution.
Can WordPress not handle this use case where a database might have some issues at one moment in time? As an end user, what can I do on this error? I see no errors in my database. So it is fine that WP logs an error, but what do we do with it? Currently, it is only polluting our logs (at least in my case).
If the problem is database related, we cannot count on a fix on that side: too many databases, too many hosters, shared servers, etc. WP would need to handle this use case from the application level.
Any ideas on catching this error, and do something else so that the cron event runs again or it is scheduled correctly for the next time?
We cannot keep this “critical” error for years…
