Hi Yogie, you’re right about the shortcode. It will be fixed ASAP, sorry for that.
The fact is 3.0 was supposed to be a beta, but we did mess up with the readme.txt file and triggered an unwanted upgrade. We’re trying to clean up and release a properly working version in the next days.

Your shortcode should look like that:

Before downgrading, please note: 2.5 version is unsupported.

In reply to: [Page2cat: Category, Pages & Posts Shortcodes] New versionThank you for your feedback. You were using the first – and less used – feature of that plugin and we really missed that for this 3.0 release, sorry for that. We’re writing that code right now so watch out for 3.1.
As a temporary fix, you can clone your
archive.phporcategory.phpand take advantage of WP template hierarchy: you can create acategory-<category_name>.phpfile and place a [showsingle] shortcode as a template tag. Hope it helps.Forum: Plugins

That part of the plugin isn’t working at now, we’re rewriting it as well and it should be released in the next days. We are moving this plugin from tag based upgrades to a “rolling release” until it’s fixed.

Can you please share a little more about your setup and the way you used the plugin? We’re going to update it a lot next days, as soon as we learn more about the way it was used.
