I think you have it, EXCEPT we don’t want to count just one user’s mantra numbers. We want to (anonymously) add to the group total. In other words, anybody can add to the total, they are not counted separately.

FYI – I would be willing to pay for you to customize the plugin (assuming I get the job!)

OK, let me try to explain this in a more clear fashion.

Visitor to site sees:

Chenrezig Mantra Accumulation Counter.

The form entry field is blank. Below the form there is a total number of previously submitted repetitions of the Mantra.

Current Accumulation: 40289540

The visitor enters a number in the entry field, for example, “3” and clicks Submit Your Mantra.

The Current Accumulation updates by adding 3 to the previous total. It would then say:

Current Accumulation: 40289543

Do you see what I mean?

The actual mantras are not uploaded. The user only enters a number.

Sure! Site visitor enters a number of mantras ( 1 or more) and clicks Submit Your Mantra. Then, the Current Accumulation number shown below the form updates to include the latest submission.

Does that make sense?

I know this is somewhat unusual!

The user inputs a number, then submits. There are already a large number of mantras. The only thing I can think of the accomplish this (in terms of a plugin) is a Poll. Counters don’t usually have input fields but work off site stats.

Not even sure if this is possible – for user to enter a number that is added to the total – with a Poll. They may have 50 mantras to enter so voting 50 times isn’t practical.

If you have a suggestion, I’d love to hear it!!

Thank you so much for your SPEEDY reply. My customer had turned on the JS features – I did not notice. Thanks – easy fix.

Wondering if something has changed in version 1.2.3 – because if I deselect the option to make the attribute visible on the single product page, it also disappears from the product category page.

This morning I reactivated the plugin (had turned it off to try other plugins) and the Create New Empty Album button worked! So, I think this is resolved, tho not sure what happened.
