yes, we can access “phpMyAdmin” through “filezilla” on our
    “ftp.asarchitects.com”

we do not have cpanel or plesk,

our hosting website is Yahoo, edited through wordpress
we dont have local files, every thing is worked through the “asarchitects.com/wp-admin

I can access phpMyAdmin through filezilla, but lost on how to access the database wp-options table. I am unable to find it in phpMyAdmin

Ive undone the changes to “wp-config.php” however the “500 internal error” is still there

would another option to fix this… be going to my hosting account and removing wordpress and reinstalling it? I understand our files will be lost but it will be a clean slate….?

    so… long story short….

we were trying to update our website with a new template,
how ever we wanted to keep our old website running while we worked on the new website. In order to do that we looked for directions which were to give a temporary address for the website so you can work on the new template without disturbing your website. In order to do this we went to the settings and changed it in word press admin.

    then….

we got the “404 not found” error in both “…/wp-admin” and “wp-login.php“.

we looked further for help in forums which led us to accessing our “ftp files” in filezilla … editing the “wp-config.php” and adding “define(‘RELOCATE’, true)” before “thats all stop editing

which in turn messed things up even more,
website shows up as white and blank, and “…/wp-admin” or “…/wp-login.php” it shows up as “500 internal server error“.

this is pretty much what sums our list of what we did…

    laliz,

I’ve tried the ….wp-login.php, but it still gave me the “404 – not found”

im not sure on how to do disable those,
my experience with website building is zero,
i have no idea on how to disable these without logging into the admin dashboard
