thank you for your prompt reply. You put me in the right direction to fix this problem, it’s in the style.css sheet of my website’s theme. In this theme I changed the line “-webkit-hyphens: auto;” to “-webkit-hyphens: none;”. The .widget area now looks like this and it works as a charm! Thanks!

thank you for your reply. I am using Ithemes security. I found a setting in the section ” system tweaks” for “long URL’s”. Unchecking this section solved the problem.

Thank you for your quick reply Angelo. Unfortunately we do not have budget to go for the PRO version. We are running an organization with volunteers trying to improve the social cohesion in our neighbourhood and we are using your great plugin to manage our events and we do that with no real budget. It would have been great if I could have used that feature, but I am already very happy we can use the free version to communicate and manage the events.
