I had this problem yesterday with verifying WP files and WP-Cerber. WP 5.1, every plugin and theme up-to-date. Every zip file I offered to “resolve issue” failed, however, despite that, they were verified in subsequent quick scans. One by one, they verified, except for WP-Cerber and WP itself. Finally, I did a full scan, and this time, WP and WP-Cerber verified! WP files get that network error (apparently) until WP-Cerber is verified, or at least it appeared so in my adventures yesterday. Your mileage, of course, may vary.

Today, I got the child theme to verify on another site by carefully downloading the child theme files and folders and creating a zip file, then using that file to resolve the issue.

When I tried before, my local child theme files did not match those on the server, so of course they would not verify. Copy child theme files and folders on server (exact-same structure) to local drive, then zip. Then use that file to verify your child theme.

**UPDATE** My ticker is now working properly again after a few subsequent updates.

I did not share my credentials… too much to lose.

I just installed this plugin on a WP 4.3.1. site and it works very well!

My problem turned out to be that I was using the store ID URL… not just the id number in the middle. Duh.

I never could get it to work on our multisite network. We moved on to another plugin. ??

I was having the same issue, and adding this to my child theme’s functions.php fixed it and made me so happy! Thank you, Mika.

I must report a correction. It wasn’t NSCloner that broke. It was my whole multi-site network that broke. I restored a backup and disabled WP auto update, and we are back in business. Once the site is all backed up again, I will turn off disabling auto update and see if if happens again.

I’m so sorry I mis-reported my issue! NS Cloner is alive and well and again working perfectly on my restored site.

okay, I tried deactivating and then reactivating and that did not fix it.

I installed it on a clean, non-multi-site install and it worked.

On the multisite network, the tab did not appear on either primary or subMulties, even when deactivated from the network and activated on individual sites.
