Yes, I tried that yesterday, but no joy. I’m going to try to find the 3.0 version of Jetpack to see if installing that will make a difference.

The searches are working now due to the change to a completely different tool. I’ll mark this as resolved. Well, sort of resolved.

I used all-in-one SEO. After that was working, then I was able to switch that off and activate WordPress SEO, which I do prefer.

I don’t know if this information will help or not. But it did fix my activation issue on both sites (different themes, different frameworks, not shared, same hosting company). I installed and activated another competing SEO product. I then deactivated it. After that, on both sites, WordPress SEO activated and is now working perfectly.

I tried downloading earlier versions to get one that worked. Alas, none of them would work either. Can’t even get the plugin to activate.

OK … pro purchased and installed. Do I still need to keep the free version installed or does the pro installation have everything I need?

Right now, my big problem is trying to upgrade to the Pro version, as my site uses custom post types and taxonomies. Checkout just isn’t working.

Thanks. I just got through setting up NextScripts for both Twitter and Facebook. I liked WP Twitter, but it seems like it was time to move on.

I would like this too. Didn’t there used to be an option that let you choose to post a tweet just on New posts or News posts AND updated posts. That would be a useful option.
