Thanks so much. That was the issue. Somehow, when the plugin was installed, it changed those settings. Weird, because I didn’t go up there.

Explorer can be very unreliable. If I ever have problems, I switch to Firefox.

I discovered that they are there in Firefox but not in Explorer. Try a different browser. They never came back in Explorer.

What if I use this plugin: SEO Data Transporter? I asked on the Genesis forum and that’s what they told me to do. I posted here at the same time as I posted on their forum to see if I could get help from WordPress.

I have just changed to Genesis and I want to use that SEO instead.

Thanks, Christine. I will try that. I change my passwords every time I get hacked and they are super complicated. I also always update anything that needs to be updated immediately. I don’t know where they are getting in. Sucuri cleans it out each time and closes any back doors. I am with a very secure host – Bluehost. So it is only the theme which is allowing it to happen or the plugins.
Any ideas on which plugin might be stopping the images from showing?

Sucuri say they search for back doors and I guess I have to trust them. My host is Bluehost, which I imagine is secure but something is sure going on. Not sure what to do next. Meanwhile, I will check those links. Thanks, Esmi.

Thanks for all your help. I am registered with Sucuri who have just cleaned my site. Since I get hacked all the time, I decided a while ago to pay the money and get someone else to clean it each time. Even though I always follow their instructions and change all my passwords each time, I still get hacked again. Any ideas on why this keeps happening?

This has happened to me too. I was checking for up dates and I saw that all my plugins had disappeared. But when I tried to reinstall one, it said failed because it was already installed. I can’t see them on my plugin page and they are not working so what do I do?

Sorry about the delay in responding. I did what you said and changed my theme and the problem went away. I tried returning to my original theme and the problem returned so I am now with Twenty Eleven but it is very basic. I wish I could return to Graphene but they are not responding to my emails to them.
Anyway, thanks for the advice.
