I am having the same problem. When I try to upload an image file I get this error message: “Unable to create directory uploads/2013/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
I have already checked my permissions and I spent a long time on the phone w/ GoDaddy support staff who determined that it must be a problem with WordPress.
How can I fix this upload problem??
