From my understanding YouTube videos need to load with an iframe. I am not using anything to embed the video. In a wordpress post all you have to do is click ‘add media’ –> ‘insert from URL’. The video is automatically inserted into the post. I have tried several codes to try and make the videos smaller, including the one from the link above. None of them have affected the size of the video no matter what height or width or code I use. The videos are oversized on mobile, tablet and my desktop( with huge black bars on the top and bottom).
In my previous theme once the video was embedded into the post I was able to resize it just like you can with an image. Now there is no option to resize. I wasn’t sure if wordpress dropped the feature recently or it was this theme.
In the following post I added two videos side-by-side. When I wrote the post I was using a different theme. So far the videos seem to be working fine next to each other (I have had to re add several videos to posts because they weren’t showing up after I changed to this theme). I even tried to use the code in this post, too, but again it hasn’t affected the size of any of the videos I have tried to add it to.

Thank you for responding. I think 560×349 should play the video without the black bars. I believe it is 1140×672 in the post which is way too large and is the reason there are black bars on the top and bottom. I don’t want to mess with the style sheet if I don’t have to because I don’t have a child theme set up.

I thought I should add what the actual problem was and what I did to fix it.
The problem was that in both posts I added two places to download my printables and used BizPanda to hide the content in both places. This somehow caused the layout to break. Using BizPanda once per post seems to work just fine. Everything is where it should be now. So it had absolutely nothing to do with how the theme itself is working. Now I’m off to figure out what all the errors are using the first link you posted here ??

It most definitely is BizPanda causing the problem. I removed it from one of the posts and the sidebar is where it should be now. I apologize for the inconvenience to you, but the information you have given has been useful and I am very grateful for all of your help.

I’m still very new to having my own domain and the upkeep of it all.
I do have some plugins deactivated. I’m still trying to figure out which ones work well. My guess is that it must have something to do with BizPanda. Thank you for your help with this issue.
I would like to say again that I love this theme and the customization options. Your support is also amazing.

Yes I disabled all plugins to test (they are not disabled at the moment). My first thought was that it was the social plugin and that was disabled first. Even with all plugins disabled this error still existed. I use the same social plugin on my main domain with this theme and I’m not experiencing this problem. Thank you.

Just now seeing your second post. I input my url in the link you posted. Holy Crap!How is it possible to have so many errors by just writing a post? I am at a complete loss over this. I honestly don’t understand any of it.
The BizPanda is what surrounds my “downloads” area. I will recheck that. But again. I have used that in past posts with no problems.

I didn’t write the two posts any differently than past posts. I didn’t add anything into the posts that I haven’t used before. I didn’t go in and change any codes or HTML. So I am not sure how the layout could have been broken. In both posts I am using BizPanda, but I have that in past posts with no problems.
