I don’t have a calendar related plugin.

I do have a directory named “calendar” because I’m using the Easy PHP Calendar. And since WordPress is in the root directory, this is causing the problem, huh? I never even suspected this.

But even if I try a name like Event Calendar, it still won’t work. If the word calendar appears in the title, it seems like it won’t take. Is there anything I can do?

Here’s something odd. If I try to name my new page “Calendar”, the above happens. If I name it any other thing, it is okay. Does anyone know a way around this?

For a minute this morning, I was able to add a page regularly and it worked. Now it’s not working again. What could be the problem??

Thanks for your reply. But does that also keep the whole shopping cart away from the rest of the site? I have used this for one other site and I remember that the running total shopping cart showed on the blog page no matter what. I don’t want it showing on the blog of this site at all.

I figured it out. You just go to Options > Reading > Static Page > Posts > Select a page to show blog posts.

Kristarella, thank you for trying to help me. It still didn’t work. I found that section in the widgets.php file, made the change, and it still didn’t take effect. This is so weird.

A couple days ago, I had moved the Pages option to appear at the top of the page and everything worked fine up there. But as a sidebar widget, I’ve never been able to change anything. I’m creating this blog for a web design client of mine, and she only wants the pages to appear in the sidebar.

Oh, and I’m using version 2.2.1 .

By the way, I did contact the theme’s author, but I’ve yet to hear back from him.

Yes. I can make the changes on other items like Categories, but the Pages one will not budge.

Oh, okay. I do know how to do that. However, when I type in a title, it doesn’t take effect. It does nothing.

Well, hmmm…. how in the world do I link it then? Can I put it in the html or does it have to go in the CSS?

(I just noticed the whole page is broken in IE. GRRR!!)

And for the sake of getting the image there, I put it in the HTML and linked right to the image on the rest of the website. I’m sure this isn’t correct, though.

Final update. I figured the positioning out.

One more update: I found out how to add the favicon:

Now I just need to figure out the positioning of the logo and I’m set! ??
