There is no issue particular with WordPress 5.9.
I can see login modal ui is minified and creating an issue. Try disabling plugin caching that try tweaking the settings.

We are unable to replicate the issue on our test sites. And we are unable to find the plugin is not activated. Can you update the ticket once activating the plugin and configuring it?

In order to do this we need to use JavaScript API. This will not be taken up in the near future.
