It is already available. When you try to create ticket logged-in as administrator or an agent, you can change Name and Email. While typing name and email, you will get autocomplete suggestions too for existing users!

Unfortunately there is no way for now to limit characters but we have taken this in our development queue.

This is good suggestion to restrict roles to access ticketing feature. We have added this in our development queue to be available within couple of months.
We so not believe in hard-coding because in next version it got vanished. If you need on urgent basis, please create ticket on our website giving reference of this topic.
We are happy that you like the new version. As we said before, we are fully committed for improvements of the product. You will see LOT of improvements in near future.
Regarding import data, SP is still under development for old users. So there are many other features in line ahead of import feature. It may take upto 3 months to have this feature in core product.
Regarding field flexibility, we will take a look for Gravity Forms functionality but if you can create a ticket for this topic on our website, we can discuss this in detail with screen-shots.

Ticket list header sorting is available but sorting by customer is not available.
You can use filter for filtering tickets of the customer.If we didn’t understood it correctly, please explain or feel free to create ticket on our website.

We are not suggesting to switch from SP+ to this plugin and this is not intend to create this plugin at all. This plugin is created for new Design and to use wordpress custom post feature.
We are maintaining both projects separately but new users encouraged to use this one as there is going to be many more features here only. Later on maybe we can stop developing SP+ and give import feature to those who want to switch.
For now import is less priority as there are many features are in development queue.

May be font-awesome conflict with some other plugin/theme having loaded font-awesome library on same page on your website.
Please check issue by deactivating all other plugins or changing theme in your testing environment.
You can also create ticket on our website regarding this issue.
