In reply to: blog (non-profit animal sanctuary) images all disappearedThanks. I think we’ve got the problem solved. Another Simple Script application that we had installed on a different subdomain had overwritten (or created) a .htaccess file at the root level, which must have been interfering with the workings of the .htaccess files in the blog’s subdomain. Thanks to all for advice!

In reply to: can’t login all of a suddenSame problem here… and I am supposed to be hosting a blog carnival tomorrow!! Have tried clearing cookies, upgrading, different browsers (IE, Firefox, Camino)… no matter what, I end up in the same “please log in again” loop. I, for one, will be very grateful to whoever solves this!!

In reply to: Upgraded to 2.6. Now I can’t log in.I cannot log into my admin page no matter which browser I use. This just suddenly started happening. Everything was fine then I was suddenly asked to log in again and now just keep getting stuck in a “please log in again” loop. Have cleared cookies repeatedly. Have upgraded. Have tried Firefox, Camino, and IE. Does anybody have any other advice? I am supposed to host a blog carnival tomorrow and can’t even get into my own blog!!

In reply to: Hacked! Help!!Thanks for your help. I’m trying to avoid upgrading, as it seems that everybody loses all of their old posts when they do so. However, I did find what looks to be like the source of the problem: a malicious snippet of code inserted in the footer.php file, listing thousands of invisible links and swelling the file to more than a megabyte. Now suddenly having problems with stats, so I suspect the problem’s not as resolved as I’d hoped.
