Hi Never Settle,

I came across this issue wile trying to configure my site address on wordpress.
The problem was that my home page/main site https://www.fienergy.net would redirect all other pages on my website to https://www.fiEnergy.net/fitness-trainer-health-coach-gesundheits-coach…..while still, however, showing an error for the home page.

So, on wp, i changes the settings entry from https://www.fienergy.net to https://www.fiEnergy.net/
fitness-trainer-health-coach-gesundheits-coach, and logged out of wp to check if now my home page would show….. (i think I might have also change in to the longer link on the entry box that asked “do you want to change the word press name” which I think was a HUGE mistake.

BUT now I get this error:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, admin and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

HOW can I log back on to wordpress to change the configuration? I keep trying and all I’m getting it this server error.

Please assist me in this nightmare….thank you!

Misplon, you’ll never believe what it was! not a plug-in. Instead, I had to remove the “#” infront of the link. Funny enough, the previous version automatically added the “#” before the link but I guess the new so-css doens’t like it? either way, it works now. thanks again!

Misplon, this update makes me insane. I found another “css glitch”. Apparently, my link buttons no longer connect to another page. Although within the editor, the cicle icon (widget) lists the correct link, on the actual page itself, the “find out more” (or learn more) link doesn’t connect to the page intended . What do I need to do?

Actually, Misplon, I have one more question….actually by changing CSS I ran into another problem: my bullet points are gone ;-( they show up in the editor but are not on the website.

I read the other posts dealing with this issue but none of their suggestions worked. I have tried already the following codes but obviously I’m doing something wrong. Can you help me again..please ??

actually, Misplon, I have one more question. Will I need to reset everything in Stylesheet (under editor) back to “normal” (aka reset mode) in order to “duplicate” the changes using the so-css? I hope this question makes sense to you. thanks again!

Thanks for the info! I hadn’t seen the video; thanks for the tip. Quite useful (although my “simple” Custom CSS is only a blank box and doens’t have all the visual controls and inspector as seen in the Site Origin video. Is Site Origin only for premium Vantage users or is there a different plug-in I should download?).

Reg my status (and progress), I actually went into Style.css under the Editor tap (under appearance) and looked for the info where I could change the theme’s style. This allowed me to make a few changes such as background, font style, as well as font size of the circle widgets. I hope this is okay?!?

Now however, I still have one problem. Within my main header, my logo and my header items don’t line up ;( somehow, the logo is in the middle of the header (top margin = bottom margin) while the other menu items are closer to the top margin. I can’t figure out what i did, or how this happened.
Do you have any suggestions how I can make this line up? Thanks for your help Misplon!
