In reply to: Best solution for setting up a top menuThanks a lot man! I really appreciate it.
I found a good intro to CSS on youtube to understand the fundamentals and progress from there.Your code worked immediately and I’ll tweak and test myself to see if I can also move the position of the entire menu.
BTW it seems to only work with the !important added as you said with the element inspector

In reply to: Best solution for setting up a top menuThanks for the inputs. It seems to require that I set out to study some basic css and the workings of the plugin (max mega menu)
I have tried now by changing the css and using the inspector. No success yet but I’ll continue. Here is a link for the site:

In reply to: Justify text inside Accordion (Elementor)Thanks that worked very easily.
I’ll look into CSS in WordPress and take the leap.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding logo crashed my websiteI quickly removed it when it happened and manually fixed things that were broken.
What surprised me the most was the settings such as the site’s footer was reset. I could understand if the menu at the top had moved a bit.
Anyway, at this point mostly just surprised that no one else seems to know this problem. Points to it being a one-off.
But thanks for the help

In reply to: Woo Commerce changing languageIt all fixed itself. So my guess is some kind of server delay lasting for days. No other explanation, but all good it seems.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding logo crashed my website“F?rdigg?r ops?tning” is to the right in my previous screenshot.
When I click on personalize (in danish) I get to this window:
https://ibb.co/y817MskNow all I did was use this to upload a .jpg file
I have some coding experience (mostly python) and consider myself quite technically proficient overall, but this is one of the weirdest things I have ever had come up. I have spent hours trying to fix these weird little problems.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding logo crashed my websiteI’ve uploaded a screenshot here:
https://ibb.co/GP3XBNXI have it set to danish since apparently, Woo Commerce requires that for my buttons to be in Danish, but “F?rdigg?r ops?tning” to the right means “finish setup”
I have not checked with OceanWP yet, but I’ll see if I can find somewhere to contact them

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding logo crashed my websiteI can understand that it sounds surprising and I should probably have explained it more clearly.
In the Woo Commerce dashboard it has sort of a “getting started” menu which has a bullet saying “personalize your webshop”. I clicked there -> “add image” -> uploaded a .jpeg file
And after doing that it reset the settings for top menu, footer and a few other things.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Adding logo crashed my websiteOkay, so I was able to simply bring back my settings for the top menu (which had been set to no menu chosen) and again set my own footer.
It was a bit scary though to have Woo Commerce rendered by website temporarily useless from something as simple as changing the logo.
Has anyone had a similar problem and/or found a cause?

In reply to: Woo Commerce changing languageIt turns out the entire theme has been translated and is compatible with WordPress language settings -> meaning that when I set general settings to Danish then the settings under the theme customization is also in danish.
I just can’t see why everything in my storefront stays in English.
I now have every setting in Danish and everything in storefront English – the exact opposite of what I’d prefer.

In reply to: Woo Commerce changing languageThank you for the response.
It seems quite illogical to me the way Woo Commerce works in terms of language. I would expect it to be separate from the WordPress language settings – I’d prefer to have all menus in English in my administration panels but just need the buttons in Danish.
Some guides say to manually download the files and put them in a certain directory manually.
Is there really no option to change the language in 2020? It seems by now everything is working by clicking and dragging and there’s no coding needed, so changing the language should be very very simple – it seems to me.
But if Woo Commerce is stopped by the theme not being in danish, does anyone know where I go from here?
