In reply to: [Bookvault] woocommerce order not automatically going to bookvaultHello, Jack. Linking is not an issue for me. I added some screenshots from two links to show you. The first time I added my book from Bookvault, it automatically linked to Woocommerce, however, I noticed that I have to manually link it after I told Bookvault to remove my duplicate listing.
Woocommerce products>click “edit” the item>Under Bookvault box on the right hand side, click edit>make sure “Bookvault US” is checked, then select the correct book ISBN to link>click save at the bottom. There is a video on Bookvault that shows you how to manually link the book. I hope this helps!

In reply to: [Bookvault] woocommerce order not automatically going to bookvaultBelow is the latest email I received from Bookvault. Currently, I have to manually click “Resend order to Bookvault” in Woocommerce.
With WooCommerce, plugins aren’t verified so can cause various conflicts with the Bookvault plugin. We try our best to build our plugin in a way to accommodate for these, but in some cases it’s just not possible and other plugins/site settings can cause issues with the smooth functioning of our plugin.
Over the last few months our development team have provided days of free development support and in most cases, it was not an issue with our plugin, but interference from other plugins – common ones we have seen are caching plugins / strict requirements on firewalls or even site speeds. We have the plugin running on various sites with no issue, so would likely be related to one of these causes.
We are always looking to improve the compatibility of our plugin so can schedule in with our development team to look into the possibility of working out any issues between your current plugins and the Bookvault plugin, we would estimate for at least 2-3 weeks for further updates on this. In the interim, they would recommend if possible to deactivate the other plugins on your store, leaving only the WooCommerce & Bookvault plugin remaining to see if this enables the functionality

In reply to: [Bookvault] woocommerce order not automatically going to bookvaultHi Jack, I did not have problem linking the title from Bookvault to Woocommerce. The problem was the order did not automatically go to Bookvault. I had to manually press “Send order to Bookvault”, which Bookvault said all orders should have come across to Bookvault automatically. Also, make sure you save your credit card on Bookvault website so they can automatically be charged when there is an order placed instead of being saved as “Draft order”.

In reply to: [Bookvault] woocommerce order not automatically going to bookvaultHi Jack,
Yes, I have the latest WordPress. I saw the message regarding the “incompatible plugin (Bookvault)” as well.
Hopefully Bookvault is looking into it, and that’s why there is a holdup.
I don’t mind the messages. It helps me to know what’s going on as I am not fluent with API and webhook. Thanks!

In reply to: [Bookvault] woocommerce order not automatically going to bookvaultThey haven’t done anything yet. However, I received one book that I ordered as a proof for myself, but somehow the font inside the book is different from the font I used on the pdf I uploaded. Did you experience that?

In reply to: [Bookvault] woocommerce order not automatically going to bookvaultBookvault told me as far as the payment “You can either pay for each order, or you can add a payment card to the account on the ‘Payments’ tab in which would be charged automatically for the order.” Do not add funds to your account as it is in pounds and not dollars, therefore, orders will not get paid if the book price is in US dollar.
As far as the order not automatically going to Bookvault, they said, “It should go straight into Bookvault, if there is any issues with the Webhook and not going into Bookvault, you can use the ‘Send order to Bookvault’ in WooCommerce that will send it through an API feed instead that should then go onto our system. If you do have issues with the orders automatically coming across to Bookvault, let us know and that is something we can have our IT team look into – this is usually related to conflicting plugins or site settings.”
I had to add Bookvault as an admin to my WordPress for them to look into it.
I tried to tweak (enable/disable) the frontend optimization, but it did not save the setting. It reset to the original setting when I got out and got back in.
I got it to work. It was still showing “Unlink” under BV link column. I had to re-link to Bookvault.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] cart and checkout not loadingI deactivated all plugins and re-activated the plugins one by one and found the Speed Optimizer plugin provided by SiteGround was the cause. Not sure if I need to keep the Speed Optimizer or not by my host, SiteGround.
Thanks!
