The sidebar is empty, so I am not able to remove the recent posts widget. I tried to drag the recent posts widget from the available widgets area to the inactive area; however, the recent posts widget remains in the available area.
I am new to WordPress and widgets, so I may be using the wrong terms. Here is a test page: https://www.hrcc7.org/?page_id=2406. The grey right column is prebuilt and the Recent Posts information is added into every page I create. I would like to have the whole second column perminiatly removed.
