Hi Thanks, it seems the issue is created by the Elementor plugin. We will reach out to them for a solution. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help.

We switched to twenty twenty and switched off all plugins except elementor and elementor pro as we used this to built our website. Switching this off removes the product page.
WIth all the plugins switched off and switched to twenty twenty we still encountered the same issue.

Our products are imported by a XML feed from our supplier. We have imported a couple thousand products which comes in multiple colors. Overall we have 15,000 productvarations. A product attribute is color and most product colors are in primary colors however there are products that come in ocean blue, light blue etc. This goes for multiple colors, like green, forrest green, applegreen etc. We have more then 100 different colors.

It became an issue for us when we installed a product filter and wanted to sort by color. Our color filter is a large drop down list if you account for all the color variations as mentioned above. Not customer friendly. So that is why i added another attribute to the items and added the simple color variant. There are only 15 different colors in the third attribute.

Another option is to remove the original attribute but that is not what we are looking for because you can have a product in apple green and forrestgreen. But if you delete the original color attribute both options will only be displayed as green on the product page. And that is not accurate. That is why i added the third attribute variant as the simple color.

PLease see also the below example of on of our products where the bottle comes in 2 different tones of blue:

I also found this link where somebody had the same question. There was a solution however i do not know how to apply this in my shop.

    Hi Stuart,

Thanks, but this is not what i mean. I want to hide the last attribute on the product page and also have it auto selected since the last attribute are simple colors definintions (same as first atrribute). I only added the Filter color attribute to not have thousands of different color names when you create a filter by color. This way if i add a simple color attribute to all the products i can create a filter with only 15 colors.

Only problem is i can hide the third attribute filter color on the product page, i received a code yesterday. The new problem that arises is that the product is not available since the third attribute is hidden and cannot be selected. Is it possible to have the third attribute auto selected?
