In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Site being accessible via non secure domain.Fred,
What I am asking is: Why is our site having this issue when other sites don’t?
What is different about our site up that is resulting in problems with this Plugin?
Regards

In reply to: [OceanWP] Brutally Slow Loading PagesWe seem to have been able to speed the site up quite a bit. OceanWP is able to be optimized to be faster. You guys should keep in mind that with the boom of cell phones websites are needing to be faster. Google is putting major emphasis on this.
We are still unable to use swift. It does not appear to have anything to do with OceanWP or any other plugin.
Thanks again for your support.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Site being accessible via non secure domain.Hey Fred,
Thanks for the help. We are busy working on the site right now so we do not have to time to deal with this. When we have the time we may attempt to reinstall Swift and see if we can get it working.
Does everyone who installs this need to do that? I am just curious as to why it was not mentioned in the installation instructions.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Site being accessible via non secure domain.Did I say that it was? I had to disable Swift because it allows the site to be accessed via our insecure domain.
Endurance Page Cache is set up by the the webhost.
And what does that have to with the problems I have mentioned??
How can I have a disabled Plugin not set up properly?
When it was enabled properly it did not properly enable gzip and it allowed the site to be accessed via our insecure domain.
We do not have any optimization plugins installed other than swift and never have.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Site being accessible via non secure domain.I also noticed that this plugin does not properly enable gzip either. We now have it enabled using htaccess.
I do not understand how others are not having the same issues. We basically only have OceanWP, Woocommerce and Elementor installed.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Site being accessible via non secure domain. We are not using any SSL forward in .htaccess. I posted the code but for some reason it is being held for moderation.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Brutally Slow Loading PagesYes Amit I have. I was hoping someone here may have experienced it.
Do you have any idea why the swift plugin would do that?
As usual, thanks for the quality support.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Brutally Slow Loading PagesHey Amit,
We were making some progress. Unfortunately when we install and activate Swift Performance lite, our site becomes accessible via our non-secure and non-wordpress domain.
suncoastorganics.com – Wrong
https://www.suncoastorganics.com/ – CorrectWe basically only have OceanWP and Elementor installed. I do not see how we could be the only people experiencing this issue with Swift Performance lite.
So now we are back to square one.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Brutally Slow Loading PagesThanks for the assistance. We have installed Swift Performance and are using CDN. It has helped but the site needs to be faster.
How can we determine which files are not being used?
Thanks again

In reply to: [OceanWP] Brutally Slow Loading PagesI wish we could update this post. We have been working on the site and have gotten the speed up. Still slow for the simplicity and size of the pages. Speed of an E-commerce site is very important. This theme is lacking in that area.
If anyone has suggestions we are still willing to try to improve it.

On the HTML site the product page would list for the product search and the video search.
Maybe a little bit of a downside to wordpress. But there have been many upsides. The site is ranking very well overall. We went with YouTube first. Unfortunately they viewed some of our videos as commercials and we had to move over to Vimeo. You might notice a lot of businesses have started to move to Vimeo. The rankings for the Vimeo videos are actually not bad and the embedded ones in the blog are doing quite well.
Thanks again for the help!
That is what we came up with also. We were just not aware of why the page would be on the sitemap but listed as noindex. Thanks for the help. We will set it as no index in the Framework.
In case you are interested we also have observed some strange behavior regarding the WooCommerce product pages. When we had our HTML site we embedded videos in the individual product pages and google picked up the videos. All of them.
We have embedded the videos in our WooCommerce product pages and google will not even list the videos. It does list the products pages though.
Do you have any idea why this would be?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Problem with Blog Loading. In case anyone else experiences this issue we are going to update the post.
The problem ended up being with the server. Oceanwp was very helpful in us being able to definitively identify the problem.
Here is the respone from namecheap.
“It seems that the code of this particular website is not working correctly with FastCGI installed on our Business servers. Please consider upgrading or downgrading your hosting plan to any other plan, or moving https://www.suncoastorganics.com/blog/ website only to another hosting.”
We have moved the site to a new host.
