In reply to: [Performance Lab] WebP does not work.Hey Joseph @joegrainger,
The image was for an product in Woocommerce. Should that have worked? Neither the smaller image or the larger images were updated to WebP.
Is there a reason this is not done when the image is added to media?
Ya, If this is not working with product pics then it is not something that we would install at this time.
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Storefront] Website Logo stretchedHey @hegenberg,
It is still popping back when you resize it to almost the size of a large smart phone.
There is something else. Did you notice the blue area around the logo when you click on it? That is never the size of the image. If that box could be somehow adjusted to 110 max it might keep the image from popping and look allot better if someone clicked on it.
If I remove class=”custom-logo-link” It works but I am not sure how to apply that in CSS.
Been awhile since I have done CSS using inspect.
Thanks

In reply to: [Storefront] Website Logo stretchedHey @hegenberg,
Thanks. Unfortunately, as I suspected, when you resize the browser it pops back up again. It would be nice to be able to use a square logo. Allot of logos are square or round.
Would anyone know of a CSS code that can handle all the screen sizes?
The theme looks good with a smaller round logo on all screen sizes.

In reply to: [Storefront] Website Logo stretchedWhen we remove the 110 px by 110 px logo the page goes right back to normal. How is a 110 px logo adding that much height?
We have done some more testing and when we use a 470 by 110 px it works. You are unable to use a smaller square logo with this theme?
We tested it with a 120 by 110 px and it shrunk it down a bit. No one else has just wanted to use a small square logo with this theme?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading Sloppy@7gorgonzolas Are you willing to give @oceanwp your login details and FTP access to your server? I am very busy and have several sites on my server. I would need to back all of that up. Also If you have the time I was wondering if you “disable the script on the select boxes” do they still load sloppily on your site?
If you look at this link that @oceanwp listed previously you can see the select boxes loading sloppy and the navigation on the left of the page. Just refresh the page. Looks glitched.
https://flowers.oceanwp.org/shop/@dval09 I had a look at your site and noticed your header is not loading sloppy and your select boxes are not either. Did you find a fix, load a previous version or go with a different theme?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading Sloppy@oceanwp OK I have submitted a ticket.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading Sloppy@oceanwp Yes I cleared the catch. But that is a good thing to remind someone to do.
It did not work. The box is still loading the wrong script first and then the right one.
I will create a support ticket.
We are running 7.1. What PHP would you like us to be running. Why has it taken you 9 days to even start addressing this?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading Sloppy@oceanwp I am sorry to see this theme is having issues. But I do not understand your response.
“For the select box of the shop page, it is not related to this issue and unfortunately cannot be solved except if you disable the script for the select boxes via Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles.”
Why would you say it cannot be solved? I have looked at other themes and none of them are loading the wrong code when the page is first loaded. You can clearly see it with the gray background on our site but I have looked at several other OceanWP sites and they are all doing that.
This is exactly what is occurring with the headers and footers.
You can see it right on you own demo. Just refresh the page and look at how the select box loads.

Why is it loading the wrong script first and then snapping to the right one?

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading Sloppy@7gorgonzolas No problem. I had a look at your site. You are having the same issue with the select boxes. Refresh the page and watch how they load. They are doing the same thing as the header. It is just much more noticeable on our site because we use a gray background.
I have looked at other themes and have not been able to find any of them that do this. The select boxes all load properly.
It is looks really sloppy.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading Sloppy@7gorgonzolas We are experiencing the same issue with our headers and footers that you are. I have pointed out the select boxes in woocommerce are doing the exact same thing as the custom headers. Odd don’t you think?
Have a look. https://www.suncoastorganics.com/shop/money-saving-combo-packs/ Look at the behavior of our header and compare it to the behavior of the select boxes on the same page. Both loading the wrong script first and then snapping to the right one.
I am wondering why this theme is having the same issue with element and woocommerce.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading SloppyThe only script I could find that was for the select boxes was titled “Custom Select”. Disabling it did not fix the issue.
Why are the select boxes on all the shop pages doing that? It makes the site look glitched.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading SloppyIt makes the site look horrible when people navigate it. A week is a long time to have this going on for.
The same issue is occurring with the woocommerce pages. Do you see the sort by popularity button? It loads the wrong code when the page is first loaded and it is then corrected. Just like the header is now. That is not new, but it makes the site look unprofessional when loaded.
Just go to this page and refresh it.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading SloppyHey Guys,
This has been going on for over 5 days now. We have a site with a black banner and every time someone goes to a new page it flashes white. It looks like the site is malfunctioning. This could result in a loss of business.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading SloppyAmit,
How are things going with this? It makes the site look very unprofessional.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] Custom Header/Footer Loading SloppyI am having the same problem.
Why would this just start happening after the latest update?
Amit can you give us a few more details?
I do not think I am using Elemetor Stretch section. Where can I find that?
I set the header to 100% full width in Ocean but it does not fix this.
