I’ve just solved this problem. I found online some code:

and upon pasting it into the CSS Editor and changing some values, including the appropriate page id and certain width values, I was eventually able to get the width I wanted.

I also tried removing the $i++; at the end and the website wasn’t corrupted, but it had no effect on the header or the header settings page.

sager I tried that and it corrupted my site and have me a 502 Bad Gateway error. I was only able to fix it by deleting the header-image-slider plugin folder in my cPanel File Manager and reinstalling it. Is there any other way to change the image order without corrupting a site?

But from the description, it says you can create a “free HTML 5 mobile app for iPhone, Android and WP8 users“. It didn’t specify that only the HTML 5 site is free.

It’s not really the editor switching that causes the problem, it’s just whenever I paste in any character in the Visual or Text editor, upon saving it turns into a question mark. It’s only when I paste the little HTML code in the Text editor, and only the Text editor, that it works, but it’s annoying when I have to keep switching editors and pasting in code just to get a character to work. It should work in the Visual editor.

Wow thanks alchymyth that did the trick. I guess I don’t need that plugin anyway as it didn’t even really work.

Something seems to have fixed the problem. I deactivated the SI Captcha Spam plugin and the white box disappeared. I then reactivated it, but it didn’t come back. I don’t know if it was this plugin that caused it, but it works now, and that’s what matters ?? .

Is there anything else I should do? Something must have caused it to randomly have a white box. It worked absolutely fine before.

It has a warning symbol on the line of “!important” saying “Use of !important”.

It is set to the Dark theme by the way, and although the rest of the theme changes when I change the theme it in Discussion settings, the white box still stays.

Well I don’t see why I shouldn’t use Jetpack comments because it has never done this before. It only started 1 or 2 days ago. If it only started 1 or 2 days ago, then something must have caused it to change, therefore it must be reversible.

I’ve tried reinstalling Jetpack but it didn’t work by the way.
