  • After I enabled the new wordpress twenty twenty-two theme, the drop cap option dissapear for the paragraph block. I tried this also in a local wordpress installation on my pc with the same result. Any ideas on how to put it back, so far, the only way to get the drop cap in a paragraph is to add the class has-drop-cap.

I think you are right and it is something wrong in the server.
I installed in my home PC instantWP, changed language to Spanish, I updated to the latest WP version, added a few images in the library, put HTML code in the captions of the images and it does not disappear.

So it is not a problem from WP, it is something in the server. I will check with my hosting, maybe they have a clue.
    Thanks for your help.

I also use the twentytwenty theme. Yes, I am logged in as Administrator (one user only, user name is not admin or administrator). I did the unfiltered_html check and seems I have the capability.

I followed the manual update and after that I tested with all plugins disabled, and got the same error. Once I enabled the plugins, same result.

Try this to reproduce, I will add also the words in spanish:
    1. Go to Library (biblioteca)
    2. Select any picture
    3. In the legend (leyenda, the 3rd box to add text from the top) add some html code, for example “<” strong “>” blah blah blah “<” /strong “>”
    4. With the top right arrows, move to another picture and back or close the image and select the same again. You can see that the legend text you added is there.
    5. Now, go out of the library (biblioteca) to any other place in your wordpress and then come back to the library.
    6. Select the same image and the text is GONE. If you do the same but you are not using HTML, the text will be there.

I found a bypass to add the html text but it costs time and is very annoying. In step 3, on the bottom right side I click on Editar más detalles (Edit more details, right next to Delete image). You are taken to the specific page for the image. If you add in that place some HTML code in the legend (leyenda) and update, the legend will show that in your library and it will not be deleted.

I’m having the same problem. I can also see that old images to which I added the html code (in my case was to put a link to the page related to the image), they work without problems and they are displayed in the standard WP gallery, but the new ones, once you leave the Library after adding the legend, they are gone.

I have seen the same. I always write the post first and put the title when I am finished and last week, most of the posts permalink were numbers. That was not there before 4.4.

I’m also having this problem. And as you said, only happens in Firefox combined with Jetpack.

The problems seem to be related to the Feedburner Feedsmith plugin. I have replaced with another one and now everything works fine.

    – I try switching to the default them but didn’t work.
    – I try resetting the plugins folder but didn’t work.
    – It looks like is a combination of plugins. If I enable only one at the time there is no problem. I still didn′t sort out which will be the wrong combination but if I find out, I will leave a message also here (besides informing the plugin creators).

    Thanks for your help.

I’m also having the same behaviour. I use flickr and Ecto to post and only once or twice per week I use the Admin page to write. Both from flickr and ecto the system is skipping numbers and this is not happening when you use hte web interface.

In reply to: Error When Posting Comment

    Hi,

I have the latest K2 installed (K2 1.0 RC6) and I still get this error when I have checked the Live Commenting in the K2 Options page. I am also using the latest TinyMCEComments (0.4.3-2)
