In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] Popup URL doesn’t workYour video portfolio widget doesn’t use
<a>
tag to enable the link. Whereas Elementor javascript only detects<a>
tag. That’s why it doesn’t work.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] Popup URL doesn’t workHmm,
I can’t find any other link on the given page URL to open the popup except the one from Elementor button widget (“Click Here” button). Could you add a manual link using our trigger URL so we can check?
We just tested the functionality on our development site and it works perfectly.
Regards,

In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] Urls only clickable onceHi, please check your popup configuration.
There’s chance that you set the close button with “Don’t show again” mode. Or please check if there is any javascript error after closing the popup.
This plugin only reveals the trigger URL that is originally generated by Elementor. It doesn’t add any other functionality.

In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] Popup URL doesn’t workHi,
I tried the “Click Here” button and the popup shows up. For the video portfolio, your video widget doesn’t seem to use which is required by Elementor popup trigger javascript. That’s why it doesn’t work on the video portfolio.

In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] Pass Request parameter with linkThe Elementor’s original javascript to trigger popups only detects URL with “elementor-action” string in the beginning. If you add variable e.g. “?jass=funk” it won’t be detected by Elementor javascript, that’s why the page reloads.

In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] change the urlHi,
No, you can’t change the URL. It is generated by Elementor and uses a custom format that is readable by Elementor Javascript.

In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] Pass Request parameter with linkHi,
I don’t think it’s possible. The URL is only intended to trigger the popup and processed via JS. It uses the same javascript method as what Elementor uses.
You’re welcome @norequests.
I think you don’t need to flag the “never cache this page”. You only need to make sure that all cached are refreshed. That includes caching from your plugin and also caching from CDN (also Cloudflare).
After the cache refreshed, our latest javascript is already recognized. So it would work well.

In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] Good plugin but…Hi @0618-2
Looks like the issue happened when you have caching plugin enabled.
We just released another update yesterday to address this issue. Please update and don’t forget to flush your cache before trying the links again.

In reply to: [Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro] Pass Request parameter with linkHi,
Can you explain more details on this? Perhaps with an example.
I see you are using a cache plugin. Have you tried flushing your cache?
We changed our javascript in the latest update, your cache might still contain our previous javascript.
