I noticed you did not report any difficulties without placing your rating. If you are still experiencing the issue with tab, please try the following:

1. Go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings
2. Click Appearance then Profile Menu
3. You will see the menu listed
4. Save settings
5. Test it on profile

I will see if I can do something to make this not happen to you or anyone else. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Are you using the paid or lite version? If you are using the paid version, please send an email for support there, it is not allowed discuss paid plugins here. Which plugin are you currently using?

Nevertheless, the issue you are mentioning is strange. I would suggest, leaving all the tab settings as default to test if the tab is being hidden due to a user role.

I am going to dig through this to try and replicate this issue and resolve it for you.

You’ve had a terrible support experience which led you here to share that experience. Sometimes, the only way someone knows they are doing something wrong is if they are called out on it, so thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for reaching out. This is a custom feature that was requested and is being developed. It takes a little more time to develop and test to be compatible for everyone.

As soon as it is ready, I will email you back with the update, it is coming along nicely with the additional features being added.

Thank you for your comment. However, when the plugin was first created the tab was created instantly without any extra steps. Unfortunately, after Ultimate Member released an update months later that is no longer an option.

The new steps to make it work are:

1. Create a tab
2. Go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings
3. Click Appearance then Profile Menu
4. You will see the menu listed
5. Save settings
6. Test it on profile

A 2 star rating is honestly harsh in MY opinion for an addon that does what it says it does. I have no control over how the main plugin ( UM ) chooses to make updates and can only adopt to the changes by including extra steps. Nevertheless, the moment I can get around things to make the tabs appear without any extra steps, I would be happy to have that option reinstated into the plugin.

I will check on the translation options as well as a way to make the avatar circular.

If you would like to provide the translation for the text, I can add them to the plugin by default.
