I’ve got a similar issue. After the automatic update, I lost all my plugins and images. I’ve manually updated my header image, which worked. Other images won’t show, even when I manually update the images. Then, when I tried to manually add each plugin I lost, I get an error message that tells me the file address is there. Help! I’ve been messing with this for two days now, and I’m not getting anywhere. I’ve also sent two requests for support. Haven’t heard back yet on either one. So I’m posting here in the hopes of finding someone who can help me.
Things I’ve tried…
Switching to Twenty Sixteen theme — didn’t work
Updating my theme files — didn’t work
Manually uploading new plugins and images — didn’t work
Re-installing Jetpack, which I suspect is also messed up.
Honestly, I’m out of options. When the site first crashed I got an error message on all my plugins, but now, I can’t find the messages. Also, where my stats should be in the admin bar, I get the same square as if it’s an image that couldn’t load.
