yes that can be done but i did not add support for that in the current version. May be in the next version

I know but again its not a plugin issue. The FB-share API works that ways. It becomes visible only when clicked or has sufficient number of shares to show.

Yes you are right. I did not take into consideration multisite while codding the plugin. I will try to add multisite support soon

Why do you need a link shortening?

This is why I think we do not need a link shortening.
1. It will drastically slow down the plugin as a result slow down your site.
2. Only for Twitter you need a link shortening, but twitter already has a link shortening t.co. For rest other share you don’t need a link shortening.
