I wanted to specifically know that although it does pose a security risk, can it be used to compromise my website?

For example, I tried it on a site but without CPanel & the hosting account login details, couldn’t find a way to the site.

So is access possible or not?If not, what are the other security risks?

The theme was tested on WordPress 2.2, it could also be possible that it has gotten outdated over the years since now WordPress 4.8+ is being used and because of that you’re facing this error.

The HTTP protocol is basically present on every site because that’s how information is transferred but you just might want to remove it from displaying.

All the URLs generated such as for the website user profile URL come from the main URL in setting so if you remove the HTTP their which I told you in the previous answer, it should work.

It might be that comments need to be approved before being posted so they don’t appear, you need to disable this option.

Go to settings and then the discussions option in your WordPress dashboard.

You’ll see the default article settings under which you need to enable the “Allow people to post comments on new articles” option.

Go to settings, then general and edit the WordPress Address (URL) field.It should contain the HTTP, remove it and save changes.

Increase your PHP memory limit using the wp-config.php file. Open the file, and add the following line of code to it:

define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);

For the ads, you can remove any code which exists in the header.php tab and also delete the verification file you uploaded for Propeller ads and the problem should be solved.
