Hi @wood9,
Thank you for your feedback regarding this activation email. We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.
We understand that it may seem harsh to delete an account, however, this practice is in place to prioritize your security and privacy. Removing unactivated accounts ensures that your personal information is not stored unnecessarily on our servers.
This email is also one of our final attempts to connect with you and offer assistance before officially deleting the account. In that email, we provide an opportunity for you to engage with our Success team, who can create a complimentary campaign specifically tailored to your needs. They can guide you through the account activation process and address any questions or concerns.
We understand you might want to skip the account setup since we require credit card details. We know this can cause some concern, and we want to assure you that you have complete control over when or if we use the card on file. You can manage these settings within your account preferences, which can be found here: https://optinmonster.com/docs/pageview-and-upgrade-preferences/.
We hope these options will give you and other users more confidence in using OptinMonster, and we appreciate you taking the time to try our platform. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any further questions or concerns.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, @alpando! We’re thrilled to know our team helped resolve this issue with you so easily.

Hi @benchdeeds ,
Thanks for sharing this feedback. You’re right, all our plans require an account and credit card to start and have specific pageview limits and features available to them.
It’s common for premium software providers to require some level of personal and payment information to facilitate the subscription or purchase process. Kind of like how you might be billed for an email marketing provider like Mailchimp or Constant Contact. This helps ensure that the software is properly licensed, allows for a seamless billing process, and helps maintain security measures for both the provider and the customer.
We understand this can cause some concern, and we want to assure you that you have full control over when or if we use the card on file. You can manage these settings within your account preferences, which can be found here: https://optinmonster.com/docs/pageview-and-upgrade-preferences/.
?
Additionally, we offer a 14-day unconditional money-back guarantee, so if for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with OptinMonster, you can cancel your account and receive a hassle-free refund. We hope these options will give you and other users more confidence in using OptinMonster, and we appreciate you taking the time to try our platform. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any further questions or concerns.
Thanks for reaching out about this, @joncongruent! Since you’re using our Embed Form block to connect to Contact Form 7, you’ll need to use one of the Javascript examples in the following guide to change to the specific campaign view you’d like to display on submission: https://optinmonster.com/docs/how-to-connect-optinmonster-with-any-custom-html-form/#Form_Events
If you need more assistance, please let us know.Hi?@rbacchus

Hi @mllapan ,
Thanks for sharing this feedback.
You’re right, all our plans require a credit card in order to start and have specific pageview limits and features available to them.
It’s kind of like how you might be billed for an email marketing provider like MailChimp or Constant Contact. Depending on the package or level you choose, you might get more contact storage, email sends, or other additional features. If/when you near the limit of your selected package, they let you know they’ll be charging you if you go over so your service isn’t interrupted.
We take this same approach, so in the event your account exceeds the campaign impressions available to it, your campaigns continue showing, and you can keep growing your email list, leads, and sales.
We understand this can cause some concern, and we want to assure you that you have full control over when or if we use the card on file. You can manage these settings within your account preferences, which can be found here:?https://optinmonster.com/docs/pageview-and-upgrade-preferences/.

Hi @ofihsdfoi,
That jiggly notification on the sidebar of the WordPress panel is to remind you to complete the last step of using OptinMonster: connecting your site. It’ll go away as soon as you follow the prompts on the dashboard to connect your site.
If you’ve already connected your site, would you try clearing your cookies/cache from your browser?
If you ever need any further assistance or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team at: [email protected]. We’re always here to help!

Thanks for contacting us, @eduiglesias23 ??
Good news! Your campaign is showing as expected for me:?https://a.supportally.com/i/4drWXa
Most often, when this happens, it’s because you’ve viewed the campaign at some point while testing it, then closed it or converted it.
At that point, the?campaign cookies?are set in your browser, which causes it to not appear again for the # of days you have set in the Display Settings. Learn more about these here: https://optinmonster.com/docs/how-optin-cookies-and-the-global-cookie-work-in-optinmonster/#Campaign_Cookie_Options
Would you do three things for me:
- Clear out any site caching you may have. This shouldn’t be the cause, but it’ll help prevent false positives.
- Clear out your web browser’s cookies and cache, then test again. Try using your browser’s Incognito mode (or private browsing), as this disables any browser extensions, you may have installed that could interfere with the normal viewing experience.
- If the problem continues, please go to this site from the same device and browser you’re testing from —?https://supportally.com.
From that site, screenshot the report and send it back to me. That will help us isolate if it is a browser-specific issue.
Thanks!
