Load a Google Chrome tab in Incognito mode. Then type in my site address and hit enter. Page loads then I right click for Inspect Elements, then go to the Network tab, and go from there..

Hi Guys,

Can you please tell me why the dropdown arrow in my AffordaBand.co.uk ‘s home page’s selector box is miniscule all of a sudden in the dropdown box? I think it’s shrunk to be almost invisible since I upgraded to the latest Forminator firmware, and I can’t work out why it’s now so small to almost not be visible.

Thanks Adam. Regarding the first one:

I’ll just use the pre-populate hidden option to auto-add the band name in a box in the form then, thank you. But is there a way I can make the pre-populated band name display as “The ABC Band”, rather than just the url extension appearance of “abc-band”?

Regarding the second:

I thought you’d say that. Not to worry. I’ve actually tried at least 15 different ‘favorites’ plugins in the last 6 months – all unsuitable. I might just have to forget about having any kind of favorites/shortlist plugin functionality. But it makes things so much less helpful for my visitors.

EDIT: Success! I just deleted my original reply! Sorry – I do get it now! Thank you.. the submission now shows me the hidden field, displaying which band page the person came from.

Two last questions:

Am I able to capture and display that band’s name somewhere on the data capture form – say, at the top maybe?, before they submit it, so they can clearly see the form they’re filling out references the band in question? E.g. as a minor heading tag or something like; “Ask Questions About ABC BAND” at the top of the data form? Just so they have a reference there somewhere on the page, to show the band they’re asking about?

And secondly:

I don’t suppose Forminator allows for the viewer to submit more than one band to me? I know they’ll hear a few bands they like, but will forget their names without some type of helpful shortlist building function as they go.. From experience, I know most people listen to say 5 bands as they go through the seperate band pages, and without the ability to add, or build a list of the band names as they go somehow, they’ll have forgotten them when they finally click on the [got questions?] button.. a way to shortlist names as they go would be really fantastic, but I can’t envisage how that would work.

One quick question mate before I go:

At the top right of all my band pages, I have a green [GOT QUESTIONS?] clickable button, which links to a ‘get a quote’ form page, with the usual data capture info on it: Name, Email address, Phone, Your Message etc.

When someone clicks this green button on that band page, and it takes them to that generic data capture form page, is there a way that the form can capture the name of the band page the person just came from, so I know which specific band they’re asking about? Or is there a better way for that ‘Got Questions’ button on each band page to be used rather than the way I’ve set it up to be a data capture page? Here’s a band page example:

OMG Kris.. you are a total champion.. those changes worked flawlessly.. thank you so much! I’m yet to figure out why the forms are different when I leap up on any major upgrade, but I’ll try to figure it out. Maybe it’s sorted for good now. Thank you!

EDIT: Solved, sorry for the trouble. Figured out the SEO title and description doesn’t reflect on the front end if I have an empty Avada CATEGORY page (i.e. not populated with any post excerpts). As soon as I add an excerpt to the category, it reflects the SEO details perfectly on the front end.
