In reply to: Can Not Login to the WordPress Administration PanelOur hosting company could not find any error after much searching. I have left a support ticket with Securi Support show I should find out soon what happened.
My last (and my first) full backup was created at the end of Oct. 2014. How regular should I do backup? Is there a more simple method of backing up without backing up the whole site, just the files that have changed since the last backup?

In reply to: Can Not Login to the WordPress Administration PanelI tried creating and using the emergency.php. I managed to log in. Thanks.
Why did I lose my password? I know I did not reset it? Was my account tampered? I can not see how when I am already using sucuri.netI tried https://sitecheck.securi.net and received: “Unable to properly scan your site” & “Website Errors Detected Critical Contact your Hosting Provider” so I’ll have to contact my web hosting company?

In reply to: Can Not Login to the WordPress Administration PanelI backed up a few weeks ago.
I went to the main responsive theme with Notepad++ and read the functions.php there but did not find: wp_set_password( ‘password’, 1 );
Another option: How do I use WP CLI?

In reply to: Changing Fonts and Colours to Responsive-Child ThemeArtist now wants to change the colour of the title text, right sidebar widget text and web page content text to “black” (or maybe in the case of the right sidebar to a White as she may want to change the background colour of the widget to a darker grey.)

In reply to: Changing Fonts and Colours to Responsive-Child ThemeThanks for the help with the H1 tile of the Prints and “On Fine Art” page. Will start a new thread with the sidebar problem.
Created a new menu, under Apperance and Menues, for the footer menu but tried everything to get the two links, Gallery and About Patrice under Home and “On Fine Art” but could not.
Menu Items 1-7 ( Home, Gallery, BioScapes, Prints, “On Fine Art, About Patrice and Contact Us) should be alligned along the left and the submenu items should be indented under the Menu Items Gallery, BioScapes, Prints and About Patrice.
Any other ideas or should I create a new thread

In reply to: Changing Fonts and Colours to Responsive-Child ThemeAnother problems has occured:
The fonts in the H1 title of the “Prints” store page and the “On Fine Art” blog page (click the Prints and “On Fine Art” tabs on the top menu at: https://www.studiopatrice.com) do not reflect the changes made to the CSS on all the other pages of the website.
Also the right sidebar of the “Prints” page is using the Main Sidebar (sidebar.php) which I would like to be only viewed in the “On Fine Arts” blog page as it is now. How do I go about making the changes so that the Right Sidebar (sidebar-right.php) is seen on the “Prints” page as it is on all the other pages of the website (except for the “On Fine Arts” blog)?
Thanks

In reply to: Changing Fonts and Colours to Responsive-Child ThemeThanks again vtxyzzy!
Is there anything I can do to the bottom menu so that “Gallery” link is located right under the “Home” link and the “About Patrice” link is right under the “On Fine Art” link? See https://www.studiopatrice.com.

In reply to: Changing Fonts and Colours to Responsive-Child ThemeThank you vtxyzzy. I have made the changes. Now the artist does not like the white area around the ads in the right-sidebar widget. See https://www.studiopatrice.com. What can I do to change that colour to a different grey?

In reply to: css file appears to be emptyWe also have the Responsive Theme but not with the Child Theme and would like to change the background colour from white to grey and the caption colour to another as well. If I edit the style.css sheet, will I lose my customization as stated in the warning. If so, is there any way around it to change the background color and the caption color. Thanks

In reply to: Changing Theme Home Page from a Post to a PageI have come back to this problem as a result of another post I gave (See: “Having Different Widgets Appearing on Website Pages and Blog Page”)
Under Appearance, Menus, Edit Menus & Pages, I still see two “Home” pages under “View All” but only one “Home” page under “Most Recent”. Under the Menu Structure the “Home” page says Custom
I went to Pages and renamed the “Home” page I had created to “Home Page”. When I go back to Menus, I now see “Home Page” listed under both the “View All” and “Most Recent” list. But at the top of the “View All” list, there is another home page that now says “Home: Home Page”. When I add “Home Page” to the menu it appears at the bottom of the menu structure as “Page” not “Custom”. But when I add “Home: Home Page” from the View All”, it appears at the top of the Menus Structure, also as “Page” and not “Custom”. Why did the previous “Home” page in the previous paragraph say “Custom” and not “Page”?
Which Home Page should I be using, “Home Page” or “Home: Home Page” at the top of the “View All” list? Or should I stick with the present “Home” page which says “Custom”

In reply to: Having Different Widgets Appearing on Website Pages and Blog PageI have already done this. See Post: “Changing Theme Home Page from a Post to a Page”. I still see blog post on all the website pages.
What does point 4.. mean when it says: “NOTE: If Permalinks are not enabled, go to Settings > Permalinks and enable them as a page address of /index.php?p=423 defeats the purpose of making a static front page.
There has to be a word missing in that sentence?
My Permalink Setting are set to Post Name.

In reply to: Artist Would Like Theme Similar to WebsiteCan anyone help? I’m still a newbie at this and we need something running soon.
I have create a modified website using the “Responsive” theme but I am losing all that grey space on the left and right. See: https://www.studiopatrice.com/wordpress/ .
Also, I would like to have the blog widgets removed on the right and have them appear only on the “On Fine Art” blog. Then I would like to then use this space to add widgets for ads, news, etc. on all the other pages.
Any suggestions for a theme or how to modify a theme to look like: https://www.studiopatrice.com/index2014.html
