In reply to: Visual Editor STILL NOT workingWell knock me sideways with a 2×4!
That only fixed it – so thank you ham1299 & jrothra & chriskink. It does however make me wonder why my copying up (and replacing) a fresh install of 3.3.1 (in this case) didn’t fix that earlier as I had copied it up several times.
Again my thanks – whilst I am able to use code edit the question is why bother when a visual one is there and so much nicer.
All the best

In reply to: Visual Editor STILL NOT workingHappy for you – but unfortunately my problem is cross-browser, cross-OS, cross-location and cross-platform.
It isn’t any of those and it isn’t a cache issue either.

In reply to: Visual Editor STILL NOT workingI sympathise Cynthia – I too had the all white text issue but one of or a combination of the above steps got me at least html editing back. Which is probably one reason why I’m not kicking up an ever bigger stink.

In reply to: Lost edit (don't know what else to call it) barbumping this.
My blog is unusable – it is effectively stuck in raw text edit and whilst I could use that I can’t because teh text is white on white.
Somebody – please?

In reply to: Old Site Showing UpI don’t think I made it clear enough in my original post – but the issue is not a local DNS issue. It is very much to do with the WP template / core files not displaying “at all” but the rest of the text does.
Anyway, as of 10m ago I have now fixed it by wiping the site and restoring (again) and this time around all seems to have taken.
Thanks for the reply though.

In reply to: Where's my website gone?Thisis what a whois tells me:

dns2.name-services.com
dns3.name-services.com
dns4.name-services.com
dns5.name-services.comSo, to me it looks like you haven’t paid your bill for your domain name. According to the above info you registered the domain with ENOM.com so they would be my first port of call.
Other than that check your emails and in particular check your spam folder for anything to do with renewing your domain registration – typically .co.uk are registered for up to 2yrs at a time.

In reply to: Where's my website gone? That looks like a default holding page.
I’d contact your hoster and see if something has happened – especially if you can’t log in. Can you log in to your hosting cpanel or similar?
