Is there a list of the actual security problem with earlier versions? I dont want to upgrade unless its actually needed!

seems out of line on IE6 – the main content doesnt start untill the left menu ends…. or is this intentional?

OK – It’s obviously not a big problem to many people yet.

If anyone is interested – reason for this problem is due to an apache module which is becoming more popular – called mod_security. This security feature prevents certain words from being accepted into the Server.

To solve this, update the mod_security conf file – or add new rules to a folders .htaccess file (you can disable per directory).

Search google for ‘mambo mod_security’ there is a good forum post on how to do this.

Please – anyone? surely Im not the onlyone with this problem.

Im experiencing a 500 error – wordpress is spitting out an Internal Server Error when I try and post code in blog.

I’ve used the fix above – but that does not help.

Anybody got any other ideas?

Having this problem also – it appears to happen when ever I post code.

The strangest thing is when I edit the post.php to print out my form data followed by the die; command – I still get the error. Its as if the post.php is not getting executed at all. I also do not have any .htaccess files to mess with the URL – cant figure this thing out.

Has nobody got a solution to this?

BTW – if you search this site with ‘server error’ without the quotes – it give a XML error (try search, the when no results are found try the same search in the bigger search box)
