Sorry, can’t properly help, but when I tried it from here with desktop Chrome and then Safari on an iPad I noticed the following.

It doesn’t behave as stock Zerif. I got a plain blue background to begin with. When I scrolled down I got the Zerif big title and then can’t scroll back up to the blue part.

Do you have a plugin which may be causing this – just guessing, but maybe a lazy loader or something?

Zerif uses

echo wp_kses_post( $zerif_email );

to display email in the footer. You might have more luck asking over at the Email Address Encoder whether the plugin supports encoding this. The first thread and FAQ over there suggests that email addresses need to be handled in a particular way for the plugin to work.

It sounds like it may be possible to configure the plugin to encode the $zerif_mail string if you look in the FAQ.

I don’t use that plugin and I’m on a shallow learning curve from scratch on all things WP and PHP myself, so I’m afraid giving any more specific help at the moment is beyond me I think.
