In reply to: Redirecting Individual IP Addresses to Custom PageThe idea of getting a developer to put together a plug in is an interesting one, but I don’t think that I’d even know where to start trying to find the right one. I would be interested in what code snippet you have – where would that be used? It does seem odd that nobody else has wanted something like this though.

In reply to: How Would You – List 5000 Names?Small screen-yetis…the above was supposed to say nested tabs, not nested plugins!

In reply to: How Would You – List 5000 Names?Sure, a plugin is a likely good idea. The big question is **what** kind of a plugin? That does what? I’ve already keyword searched on student listing, participant listing, student records, and such, but none of those produced anything other than variants of databases, and I don’t need/want one of those. I need to be able to list all the names, but that’s a lot of names which makes for a long list. I’ve also explored plugins but can’t find anything that allows for nested plugins and that actually works and can also be customized to match a theme.

In reply to: Error in Uploading MediaHmmm….just for the heck of it I logged out admin and back in again, and now it’s working. Now I’m even more curious. Or should I just look the other way, don’t ask any questions and get back to work???

In reply to: [Howdy AdminBar Settings] Fantastic Plugin that also works with GenesisThat did the trick, removed, reinstalled and Howdy is now gone and with the option to change it to whatever I want. Fantastic! Thanks for your quick work on responding to my suggestion by tweaking your PU to accommodate that.
Also – for any Genesis user, yes this does work with Genesis!

In reply to: Removing HowdyWill take a look at it. I did try adding a filter that I’d found but there was no change. Not sure why, but I’m running Genesis so perhaps that had something to do with it?

In reply to: Removing HowdyThat works nicely! I wish that it would remove the greeting instead of just substituting Welcome for Howdy, or perhaps you could customize the greeting. Also love that it can eliminate the admin bar, but wish that it didn’t lose the search box in doing so. But works great with 4.3.1.

In reply to: Removing HowdyNo, that one hadn’t come up in the search. Will check it out, thanks!

In reply to: [Subtitles] Subtitles Don't Show Up On My SiteFYI — while I haven’t yet received any response on the Genesis forum, it dawned on me that I can certainly confirm that it is an issue with the Genesis theme by simply activating one of the stock WP themes, and yup, your plugin worked just fine there.

In reply to: [Subtitles] Subtitles Don't Show Up On My SiteThanks for looking! So if I go to them and ask: “where the title output for pages is happening?” That is the right question?
Thanks,
Dan

In reply to: [Subtitles] Subtitles Don't Show Up On My SiteHi Philip,
Wow, thanks for a quick response! The first part is easy — here is the the URL of a page that I added a subtitle to: https://www.ikmpro.org/km-certification/
About the paste of the code….I understand the words (lol), but have no clue where I go to get that code. Is that inside of WP somewhere?
Thanks!

In reply to: Title Tagline or Slogan on PageNo, don’t think that at this point that it is something that I need help with in Genesis as I suspect that I should be able to do this inside of WP itself. As for custom pages, I did look at the Page Template page inside of the WP Theme Handbook and so I see that I can manually go inside of pages and tweak the PHP files for any page. But I’d think that there could be an easier way to do this — such as a plugin that will do that (create a custom page as a new page, modify the code, add a subtitle or something like that).
