Is this feature still in consideration for development?

I am having the same issue, has anyone had any luck solving it? I picked apart the mcsw.php file, but couldn’t quite get to the bottom of it.

I notice that this problem seems to stem from setting port 443 to be the secure port. Without that setting, the url is set correctly, but it is redirected to http instead of https.

Seems somewhere along the lines there had become a problem with the comments db table, a reinstall of it and all better!

Did you have any luck solving this problem? I am having the same issues with a blackberry posting to wordpress.
