https://www.newyorkit.com/2008/11/reduce-you-it-costs-part-vI get a box with cruved borders and a ? in a circle
I am looking for just the images. I don’t know if this is a CSS feature that makes this possible, but I am looking to show all the visitors like this

In reply to: adding tag iconsI have tried doing this once before, and never get the actual images to load up, Do you have this working now? If so, can you share the code in the page that is calling the_tags

In reply to: Image thumbnailsNotice one thing missing – I accidently loaded a gallery of images into a post, removed the gallery tag but the images were still there – this method pulls all the images in a post. I think for post image thubnails in themes people would probably just need the first image

In reply to: Image thumbnailsThanks that is what I was looking for. I have seen some very nice themes that for some reason make the poster add custom tags rather then just resize the image. This just makes more sense.
Yes, I understand they want to add flexibility and the custom fields gives you that option, but like about – just check for fields first and if not – resize

In reply to: Renamed and bulk edit tagsUsing the plugin now on firefox but not able to get it working on IE7. Guess I’ll put up with it for a few minutes, do my changes then uninstall it.

In reply to: Renamed and bulk edit tagsThanks for the link Otto42 – this looks promising, but when activated and I go to Manage -> Tags, clicking on any tag causes an Error on page and Object doesn’t support this property or method
I’m looking over the comments on the plugin home page for any suggestions.

In reply to: Help! please..lost all my blogs1 – where are you backups?
2 – go to google and get the cached copies of your website and copy paste rebuild
3 – archivesBut #1 is the constant and always asked question Where are your backups?

In reply to: Theme FoldersWhy don’t we do a few things –
1 – slow down and don’t expect a response here so fast
2 – ftp any file to your website – make a file locally and call it test.htm – inside the file just put hello world and then ftp it to your website
3 – when that file is uploaded, access from IE or whatever browser you are using
4 – if it works, post the link telling us it works so we can see it here
5 – if it doesn’t work, then you are probably using the wrong connection information, contact your hosting provider for your ftp informationForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: COPPA For WordPressFirst, this is a big blue marble, not everyone has or even cares to do this
https://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/coppa.shtmJust make a page with your policies, which so many just boilerplate without knowing what it means.

In reply to: GoDaddy WordPress issuesThey upgraded? Are you using one of the webhosting tools auto install and update bundles?
If you can – get off of all of their preinstalled versions and do it yourself – cuteFTP, download the bits from here and be in charge of your own bits. It does require some technical work, but better to know what you have for your own benefit.
I honestly cannot think they that auto update those that preinstall though. That would be a pretty big leap.

In reply to: GoDaddy WordPress issuesIt has to do with WordPress, MySQL and GoDaddy – the error logs are full of
WordPress database error MySQL server has gone away for queryand such errors
I do not have any other sites with GoDaddy that use MySql, but the MySql and PHP based db tools seem to be working.

In reply to: Moving my blog on the same server to the root – benefits? You are asking an SEO question in a technical forum about a blog software. Do not expect a good answer if any.
Deep linking occurs at 2 or 3 levels down, and is quoted by many as a major cause of issues and by many as of no concern. Only the search engines of the day – which change – know for sure. If you do a search on a topic, do you see any option to only return results with short or shallow URL’s? ??
What drives your search engine ‘visibility’ is content. Content that is original, well presented and formatted, read and linked to by others.
