In reply to: [Easy WC Google Merchant Center Reviews] It doesn’t work for me@zedjames When you have enabled it on your Google Merchant account, and your website has been verified by Google, it can take a little while before the survey request popup shows. This is down to Google and would happen regardless of which plugin you use, or if you added the Google code yourself. Again, you’ll probably need to clear cache / try on another device initially too.
If you have any problems at all, come back here and I’ll be more than happy to help.

In reply to: [Easy WC Google Merchant Center Reviews] It doesn’t work for meHi @zedjames
I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with the plugin. We have troubleshooting steps detailed in the plugin FAQ, which I have outlined below:
When you first set up the plugin, your Review Badge and Opt-In Survey may not show straight away due to JavaScript caching. Try clearing your browser cache first. If that doesn’t work, please check the following:
– You have entered your Google Merchant ID correctly in the plugin settings
– You have enabled the Review Badge and Opt-In Survey in the plugin settings
– The website you are using the plugin on matches the website in your Google Merchant Center settings and is verified in your Google Merchant Center: https://merchants.google.com/mc/settings/website
– You don’t have a script blocker on your website or browser. If you do, you will need to allow the Google Merchant Center script to runYou also need to have Google Customer Reviews enabled on your Google Merchant Center account.
The code that the plugin uses is the exact code that is provided by Google. I can assure you that it does work, as we run this plugin on many production sites ourselves. The most common issue with the survey request not showing is down to browser cache, so I would recommend trying on another computer, and also ensuring that everything is enabled and verified in your Google Merchant Center account.
Which product feed plugin are you using for your GTINs? I’ll have a look to see if I can see how they store the GTINs and get a working snippet coded for you.

In reply to: [Easy WC Google Merchant Center Reviews] Don’t think data is going to Google? The opt-in window and its submission are all handled by Google, so if the opt-in is appearing, the data will be going to Google successfully.
As for the email not arriving, this could be one of two things, which are both in Google’s control. Firstly, Google doesn’t necessarily send an email to every customer who opts in. Looking at my own stores reviews statistics, it would seem that about 90% of my customers who opt in eventually receive an email. Secondly, Google waits until after the estimated delivery date before sending the email. So if you have set your estimated delivery days to 2, Google will wait at least 2 days before sending the email.
Review opt-in and survey statistics in your Google Merchant Center account can be delayed by up to a week, which may explain why nothing is showing in your Merchant Center yet.
This is what Google says about the matter on their troubleshooting page:
Ensure that the ESTIMATED_DELIVERY_DATE for the order has passed. Customers who opt-in to the survey receive an email that asks them to rate their experience in a few days after the estimated delivery date that you included for the order in the survey opt-in module.
Additionally, the information shown in Merchant Center graphs can be delayed up to 1 week.
Hi,
Thank you for using our plugin, and sorry that the opt-in isn’t showing for you in the thank you page.
When the opt-in isn’t showing, it’s usually down to cache, as Google uses JavaScript to display it. Have you tried placing a test order on a Chrome ‘Guest’ window? Guest mode ignores any cache, so the opt-in should display correctly. Alternatively you can try clearing your browser history.
The other reason why the opt-in may not be showing is due to any anti-tracking software on your internet browser. For instance, software such as Bitdefender can block some Google scripts from running, in which case the opt-in won’t show. The only way around this is to whitelist your website in your anti-tracking software.
Let me know if any of the above help ??
The latest release of the plugin has added a filter
se_wcgr_opt_in_data
that allows you to modify the opt-in code before it is rendered. By adding a hook in your child theme, you will be able to modify the opt-in code and add the GTIN as needed. This is something we are looking at adding to future versions of the plugin. Unfortunately customization of the plugin in such a way goes beyond the scope of what can be provided in this forum, as how to add the GTIN varies massively depending on how the product GTINs are stored in the first place.
This is why the feature is not in the plugin as of yet, we are looking in to the different ways that other plugins store the product GTINs so that we can access the data to provide in the array that gets sent to Google.
Apologies that I could not be of more help today. Please be assured that this feature is on the roadmap for a future release.
